Actually, it is. There's nothing wrong with eating raw eggs (health-wise) as long as your chickens don't have salmonella. If your chickens are healthy and their living conditions are clean, they're actually less likely to contract/carry salmonella than store-bought eggs. I believe Bryce's eggs come from his own chickens, so he's probably fine.
Personally, I would cook them. It's safer and tastes way better.
