A great device for keeping all the off cuts at hand and findable...lovely cover, I really like your idea to "wrap" the embellishments. Thanks so much for the freebie flowers, I am sure they will be put to good use here and there, over and over...they are so pretty.
I finally got the chance to start my Scrapper Keeper....got ten job ticket holders all sectioned and used my heat tool to "stitch" them together. Next step will be to get out my bind it all out and start notching those edges...so happy to finally get to do this project, thanks for such a great idea.
Perfect! Your ideas are so great! I used the 12 x 12 page protectors for a larger size. I also used the fuse tool on the back side of the same lines so they didn't pop open. A learning curve for the fuse tool. Keep up the good work!
I love the technique you used for the covers of the Scrapper Keeper. It would be good for making a cover for s journal too. The flowers are so cute. Thanks for sharing.
Love this what an amazing idea for holding ur scraps, was also wondering if you have a link to the video you watched for making the Brad eyelet thing or can you do a video on it please
+Deborah Adams I purchase mine at my local art supply store but I am sure they are available online also! I love it for things like that, super sticky!! Jennifer
Jennifer... I'm Just now making a Scrapper Keeper..are the flowers still available? I can't find them and I though I had them but I don't...sorry for the trouble..HUGS...
I know you did this a while ago, but....I only had Mod Podge...Not completely a epic fail, but it turned out rather warped..I had Spectrum Noir paper so I did use that..What other medium can be used to laminate that cover? My first page try kind of got stuck to my wax paper and damaged the front side...bit of a bummer so I will try again...UG!
I have a dilemma---I want to purchase a heat tool, but don't know which one would be a good choice: what do you use, how do you like it, how long have you had it? Would love some input. Thanks.
+Renee Murrell I have the we r memory keepers fuse tool! I really don't have any advice on them due to the fact I have only used it a couple of times. I can say it has a super short cord which stinks! Jennifer
Hi Jennifer, You misunderstood--I was referring to a heat gun for embossing, drying paints and glues. In your videos you have used 2 different types; I wanted your opinion or suggestion to what you felt was the best choice. Renee
+Renee Murrell LOL oh ok!!! HeeHee! The Ranger heat tool doesn't work as fast but it is very quiet and the other one is by Martha Stewart, it gets very hot and works faster but it is very loud! I like them both I think equally! If I could only have one I would choose the Martha Stewart one I think! Hope that helped! Jennifer
Great to see a mixed media Video, just loved what you produced and Oh my, I would have burned my table and cut it too if I attempted that (I'm so clumsy and no patience lol). Tfs x
