CAC and GCC are both good in their own ways! CAC is great for people who prefer customs that are very accurate to the source material without compromise. GCC is great for people who prefer customs that blend extremely well with official minifigures but are as accurate to the source material as it can be without compromising Lego’s style
The only problem I have with CAC is that a lot of their clones have little details that end up making them inaccurate to what they're trying to portray, which is always irritating when I'm after a really accurate version of a specific clone.
Yea I don’t think this video was really “fair.” The OP was mostly using a lot of old figures to compare to GCC, instead of showing off more RP2 helmets that have been used lately. Not to mention, he completely left the fact that CAC just has a TON more options for clone trooper armor variants out of consideration
I used both new RP2 helmets and older style CAC helmets. There is a lot of information to fit into 60 seconds so of course things are going to be left out. I tried my best to be fair to both companies because I love them both and use them for different reasons so I tried highlighting what was important to me.
I’m only comparing the two companies, I’m not saying one is good and one is bad. They both are good for different reasons as the comment above points out. While yes CAC has so many products I believe they’re better for accessories because their clone troopers don’t mesh with the ones Lego produces. However that’s just my opinion and I’m glad you’re expressing yours too!
@@BehindtheLegoBrickI do agree both have their own strengths like GCC fixes the helmet hole problem for people who don't like helmet holes and CAC has interesting accessories like you said from backpacks, vizors, and custom blastors I do wish GCC had a little more variety but since it said they're reopening I'm assuming they'll be more in the future so we just have to wait for what's to come
CAC is just the best manufacturer in the game. GCC has its merits but the titan of CAC has allowed them to expand into moulding and very advanced pad printing. Arguably of better quality than lego themselves, especially since the scale of the operation is much smaller. But really its just up to aesthetic preference. Personally I prefer CAC. Though GCC admittingly has more utility for play and MOCs
Hey! The CAC visors work on clones without the helmet holes yes! I have a short where I use CAC accessories to upgrade legos commander Vaughn if you need a visual representation! Thanks for asking and I hope I was able to help!
GGC hands down makes the better looking clone troopers. The thing I like the most about them is they look like something Lego would actually make and it all blends together nicely. Where as with CAC I’ve always hated the look of their older style P2 helmet. The new style just feels slight off. And then the figs not sure if I’m in the minority but I actually dislike how much printing the figs with 360° prints look.. I’d rather have the clones printed in the same way that Lego makes theirs so that they all match side by side to make the cohesive between official Lego and the 3rd party figs, something GCC does 1000% better.
I like how way more detailed the CAC clones and prefer them over actual Lego clone troopers. The 360 printing on the torso and legs are great. And although the older helmets are mid. The new helmets fit the look of the clones from actual Lego. So they don’t look drastically different.
An issue I noticed with GCC is they sometimes print on used parts with scratches, and sometimes the arms are loose. CAC is great, but sometimes the amount of detail is too much that it doesn’t “feel like Lego”, you might as well get an action figure. Also, I don’t like how CAC doesn’t use official Lego helmets.
I think GCC makes better clones, they are way closer to the lego style while fixing the issues Lego’s design has. I feel like CAC’s clones are just way to detailed. They do make good accessories tho
CAC is still has the “realistic clones that they sell” these are far better than the Lego ones and GCC’s. For an example the 20P2 Vaughn helmet it look far better that the CAC helmets
GGC clones are pretty realistic to LEGO
Grandpa clones are acurate to LEGO style.

Definitely I don’t like the clone army custom helmet for captain Rex
Probably the old version

Am I missing something? GCC only has 2 pages of stuff while CAC has well..... infinite stuff.

@@snipershot6014yea, I gotta say CAC has quality, but i feel like they value quantity more. like we really don’t need TMNT clone troopers.

I really like this, thank you for sharing. That was the whole point of this short to provoke a conversation like this, I appreciate your feedback!🔥
great short btw!!
Thank you!
100% True
Their both good. They have everything I need.
hey, can you help me.Does the visors of cac work on phase 2 official lego clones?

@BehindtheLegoBrick for sure, thanks!! Especially beacuse they are having a big sale, on all the products i think.
@@BehindtheLegoBrick they stpoed the sale
The sale ended before I made this short, it was made back in February but Ik that CAC has many other sales throughout the year!

Yeah. I agree. There’s a such thing as too much detail.

@@BehindtheLegoBrick I wish someone would combine best of both worlds, the style of GCC and the quality of CAC.
Not sure anyone will but I personally am happy with GCC, although it would be cool to see a third custom clone company start competing

The clone army customs its just the gigantic black circles on the helmet it destroys the whole fig
both, both is good.

Nahhhh CAC for life, let Tyler knowwww
I like CAC for certain things and I think their products have always been great! This was just a compare and contrast video
CAC has gotten better if you ask me and i dislike that GCC is almost always out of stock with their good items
That's totally fair!
Yippee
GCC makes better "Lego" aesthetic clones, CAC makes better Custom enhanced lego clones

i think grandpa customs looks way better because the other one just looks fake to me
