I remember playing Nihal when he was 6 or 7 in a local competition here in Kerala, India. Its so crazy that little kid is playing hikaru and hikaru has a whole video dedicated to him.... wishing both these guys good luck❤

Talking about geography, it would be really interesting to see a battle between Nihal and Praggnanandha. Interestingly, they are both from Southern India from different neighbouring states. Nihal is from Kerala and Pragg is from Tamil Nadu. They are almost the same age 18 and 19, and both are rising stars of chess.

    Nihal is a gem 💎
I have seen young Nihal in a tournament in Kerala taking walks after putting his older stronger opponent in pressure. It was a great sight to eye watching whole crowd watching and wondering how this little kid could be this talented and cute ☺️❤️.
I came across his interviews recently and was really surprised to see how humble and grounded Nihal is compared to his peers.

@@GoofyAhOklahoma His not a kid for chess. He is 19. Physical parameters including the age actually doesn't really matter in chess as long as you are between 18 and 50 or even more. Recently, for example, another Indian player Praggnanandha, who is also from Southern India like Nihal, beat Hikaru on a tournament that was held just recently. Praggnanandha is only 18 years old.
