Is there a different location for the drain plug on different models? I removed the skid plate on my 1993 fjz80 and there was no drain plug. I looked around the area and noticed a plug on the side, not the bottom. Is that the correct drain plug? Fill plug is in the same location. Cheers
Every 40,000km (25k miles) I would say that you should change the Transfer case fluid. If you are asking about how long you should drive immediately before draining, just drive around until engine reaches normal temp.
