To be honest, I don’t browse RUclips much these days. The odd day I’ll crave it and pop over. But I think my patience has just changed. Been here since Tomakonus days & will continue to follow the content lol I've always felt that you did need a channel with finished work/travel videos and a separate one on how to do filming, behind the scenes, etc. Just a thought.
Just a thought, maybe the other channel could be the "how to" channel with tips and ideas, instructional video making stuff, and this could be the final product movie channel? It makes sense to have them separate, one about how to make something and the other featuring what you're actually trying to make, presumably travel videos or mini movies about your experiences and adventures. I think a big reason why many channels don't do well is because of a lack of consistency as far as the type of content. I have the same issue on my channel, I make videos in so many different styles, you never know what you're going to get, so people tune out when they click and it's something different that they aren't as interested in. But if you were to make this channel solely about high quality, entertaining, adventurous travel content, even if you don't post regularly, you might have better luck over time as people get clued into what the channel is really about and see some consistency. I might even take my own advice at some point, but for now I enjoy being a bit random and it's working out well enough, so I'm sticking with it. Anyway good luck with the new project. ✌

Don't do it!! You have this backlog of amazing content, don't turn that machine off! I just found you last week and I've been watching 5 of your videos a day. If all your subs were like me, you'd have 1M views a day. Start the other channel sure, but don't let this channel die on the vine. Keep it going with low effort content or content that's outside the new channel's optional niche. Also having your name has the title is on brand for you. I don't trust "capture x" channel or whatever you call it. I watch you over bigger more polished and more well thought out channels because you feel like a friend to me. Don't trade away the "feels like my friend" vibe!
I used to watch so many of your videos, and they gave me so much energy and excitment for life. I dreamed of being videographer.. but then i enroled in computer science, and now in last year of it i just randomly thought of you and my old passion for videos. I just want to say thank you! Kind of sucks how the RUclips algorithm treats channels where the creator takes a bit of a hiatus. That really puts some unnecessary pressure on creative people wishing to use this platform as their main outlet. It's absurd how subscriber count means almost nothing anymore because even the people who've subscribed to see your videos don't actually see them.
As they say in many shows and movies, "It is not actually the end, until it really is the end!" Sorry I probably paraphrased that. That said, you content should remain up on this channel as your new channel is independent from this one, and has a much more specific topic theme, such as the art of filmmaking! Love your content.

It's funny that youtube thought that "this goodbye" video is only interesting video for me from this channel and recommended it.. And never recommended any previous ones. The sad truth is if you don't post daily/weekly youtube thinks the channel is irrelevant and shadow bans it. same will happen with a new channel if you dont post consistently. Also views dont just increase because you start the new channel. As for some tips maybe add tips on editing using AI , tiktok transitions etc. More new gen stuff and less old generation "big camera" stuff as it's less interesting for people in 2023

Also youtube doesn’t like when people change subjects of the channel. This started as beautiful travel vlog but changed into how to class and vlog followers didn’t nessesary subscribe for it snd stopped watching
It was always a tutorial channel, but you're right in that it's became more or less exclusively that towards the end. But that's not what killed it, the tuts have always been my best performing vids from the beginning! Just inconsistency mainly I think, also def agree that yt has changed now and so have trends and interests
