I love the Amigo Sincero’s blade just because it’s Brick’s gift to Mordecai so despite making a sniper, he couldn’t help but throw something on it for beating people down. I love Small touches like that.
I agree, the skullmasher with vel0city and precisi0n maxed out means the spread is basically nonexistent, making it the second-highest damage in one shot dealt by a sniper, right after the elephant gun.

For anyone asking, in the 360 versions of the game, the Lyuda is known as the White Death. This is a reference to Finnish sniper Simo Häyhä, known by the Russians as 'belaya smert' also known as 'the White Death'. He had, in the military a confirmed 500+ kills using only his sniper rifle.
Building on that fun fact: The name change to Lyudmila for the current sniper name, is a reference to Lyudmila Pavlichenko - Lady Death She was a soviet sniper during WW2 who recorded most kills as a female sniper in human history. She would strike fear into the germans to the point where they literally tried bribing her to turn her against the soviets. She replied with long range bullets and over 300 kills. Glad they designers linked the Vladof brand with her name.
In terms of design/gun skin alone, I always use the Pitchfork. However, the Pimpernel is the best for me, as it's not as rare as the Lyuda, and you're almost always guaranteed to have one drop with an element on every playthrough.
I think the amigo sincero from the fight for sanctuary dlc. I think this is good because it ignores shield, while gunzerking if its in your off hand the weopen in your main hand will also take this effect, it is very useful.
I I love snipers, snipers are great, but only, if they have a fast firerate, so you can score multiple headshots in a row^^ Edit: I used the morning star quite a while, it does a lot of damage. Sadly, the firerate isn't that good, but I very loved that the weapon cries, if you land a criticle hit^^

Isn't the hot Mama's hidden stat that its accuracy can't be tampered with, meaning even with gauge at high anarchy the hot mama will still hit the target you are aiming at?
What I find strange is that Puma recommended to farming Droogs from the Hoffman enemy in the Lilith DLC, but when you pick up the sniper he drops and save quit your game the sniper disappears from your inventory. Probably a silly bug but very annoying. Even if you have the sniper equipped it will be erased from the inventory as soon as you save quit and reload back into the game.
It is missing a part of the gun and that causes it to be deleted by the sanity check. I'm not sure what part it is but the gun functions fine without it. It's pretty funny how that even happens. The Unofficial Community Patch fixes this thankfully so Hoffman can easily be farmed in normal mode. The sniper will be level 30something but I think thats ok for stacking at super high levels.
I feel like instead of the cheràmie there should have been the bfffs mission rewards sniper I forget what it's called but it does more base damage than even the skull masher and it has a critical hit multiplier Edit: I just watched more into the video... Smh

Uranus can drop literally anything. I've gotten a copy of all gen 1 pearls, and multiple legendaries such as the bitch, hornet, white death, and many others that are usually locked behind other bosses.
Sniper rifles are awesome, but in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, they become somewhat impractical. Rather getting instant kills, you have to get SERVERAL precise shots, and most of these enemies are moving, making it tough to line up sights. Even on Zer0, who has a whole skill tree dedicated to sniping has trouble. His Critical Ascensi0n skill decays stacks too quickly and you instantly lose ALL of them if you switch to a non-sniper rifle. It's a shame, because I really love sniper rifles in BL2. Unless, anyone knows any viable ways to play Sniper Zer0 without becoming frustrated? Let me know if you do. Thank you and have a nice day. :-)
Its all about patience in my case, pre-stack with droog and watch the chaos unfold as you oneshot a lot of enemies provided you stacked high enough. i cleared washburne refinery with around 55 stacks or more most of the time in about 4 - 5 minutes. oneshot the loaders and 2-3 shot the ones with shields. I only used an on-level corrosive lyuda with a decent enough corrosive bone, and a slag transfusion for heals. not much slagging the enemies for me. hope this helps!

it ok, just the godfinger is a good weapon in the wrong game. borderlands 2 wasnt designed for the godfinger, and reduced damage was unnecessary. hopefully borderlands 3 is open enough for this weapon should it return

I love the Lyuda,it is imo the best sniper in the whole game,its true there are some with interesting properties like the Hawk eye which does +580% more crit damage or other snipers that do lots of damage or stack crits,but Lyuda is a Droog which is better in any way possible,plus it also has the bonus of shooting 2 aditional bullets on the sides,honestly tho put that on Axton with some fire rate class mod and all the kill skills that give fire rate and gun damage and so on or maybe idk some magazine size class mod or something,and either way you can make that damn thing into a freaking minigun,literally a better minigun than the rifles with the minigun barrel could ever be,that is what i always use it as on Axton,plus its a great overall sniper for any character,but i feel like on Axton it shines the most for it can be used as a sniper or as a normal rifle/machinegun/minigun depending on the situation you're in,long range just tap the trigger and use the scope,short range just don't use the scope and hold the trigger,the damn thing shreds through almost anything,tho level may make a difference,also element aswel,i got a corosive one and i swear to God that thing is literally death incarnate,i used the Gibbed from time tot ime to level it up with me but still its the best sniper in the game
Why isn't the Storm on the list? I use it alot to help plow through multiple enimies. It's one of my favorite snipers. Also, Uranusbot drops the Lyuda. I've received multiples from him.
@@IcyFlame0 um....I've received the Lyuda as a drop from him. He also drops pearlescents. A few times I've gotten two pearlescents and a legendary in one run.
I have yet to properly test most of these snipers, but I've found myself doing wonders with the Godfinger in the UCP (slightly more damage, no bolt action) with the Bee.

I always use the sniper/assassin types in the Borderlands games. Mordecai for 1, Zero for 2. Who should I use for 3? Also my favorite sniper is the Lyuda because Vladof snipers are awesome. Edit: Also the one that you get for completing the quest where you have to kill Dukinos mom.
"#1 The storm.....j/k." Uhhhh, no. It is the best sniper in the game when used correctly. Considering every youtuber plays with their BAR off, yeah, the storm would be bad since it's being used incorrectly. While the Storm isn't the strongest per shot sniper in the game, the subsequent orbs don't work off gun damage. They work off ELEMENTAL damage. So with BAR off, the orbs are sad. With BAR on, and a proper build, the orbs DEVASTATE enemies, and can one shot most mobs, especially on Gaige. Use the Storm correctly people.....watch them melt.
This is a completely random thing.But I’ve been a Krieg main for quite a while now.I was a hardcore melee guy,but as you know that doesn’t work well on OP’s...so I switched to a Gun Dps/Hellborn.I noticed the difference in dialogs between the two builds.Mania Build Krieg always had well yanno...Krieg Dialog,Crazy screaming shit.I noticed the Gun Dps/Hellborn build has a lot of the quieter sane inside voice for its dialog.Almost like investing in Mania changed him making him either well more of Maniac or leaving clarity in his mind.It’s probably just all my mind but I noticed it and I thought it was kinda interesting.

Snipers in Borderlands make no sense to me, Snipers are supposed to be steathvweapons and typically kill in one shot but In the Borderlands games? No also the second you hit someone with a headshot (and of course DONT kill them) every enemy in the area knows where you are and begins firing at you
Dude massively cool video, two things, bath water, I make a boat load of it every morning which I have with pancakes, secondly, the pitchfork! I swear I'm the only dude who likes it. It looks cool, fun to use, meh maybe not super powerful, but taking out buzzards with a one trigger pull from across the map in the dust is awesome. Still want you to be president cos you're a dude but you gotta think more pitchfork, try saying it out loud when you're in the drive through picking up you bath water latte or chino.

I love the Lyuda,it is imo the best sniper in the whole game,its true there are some with interesting properties like the Hawk eye which does +580% more crit damage or other snipers that do lots of damage or stack crits,but Lyuda is a Droog which is better in any way possible,plus it also has the bonus of shooting 2 aditional bullets on the sides,honestly tho put that on Axton with some fire rate class mod and all the kill skills that give fire rate and gun damage and so on or maybe idk some magazine size class mod or something,and either way you can make that damn thing into a freaking minigun,literally a better minigun than the rifles with the minigun barrel could ever be,that is what i always use it as on Axton,plus its a great overall sniper for any character,but i feel like on Axton it shines the most for it can be used as a sniper or as a normal rifle/machinegun/minigun depending on the situation you're in,long range just tap the trigger and use the scope,short range just don't use the scope and hold the trigger,the damn thing shreds through almost anything,tho level may make a difference,also element aswel,i got a corosive one and i swear to God that thing is literally death incarnate,i used the Gibbed from time tot ime to level it up with me but still its the best sniper in the game
Why isn't the Storm on the list? I use it alot to help plow through multiple enimies. It's one of my favorite snipers. Also, Uranusbot drops the Lyuda. I've received multiples from him.
He doesn't drop it. He drops random legendaries. Not specifically the Lyuda.
@@IcyFlame0 um....I've received the Lyuda as a drop from him. He also drops pearlescents. A few times I've gotten two pearlescents and a legendary in one run.
I have yet to properly test most of these snipers, but I've found myself doing wonders with the Godfinger in the UCP (slightly more damage, no bolt action) with the Bee.

SOMEONE HELP. I was playing with some random guy earlier and he gave me a bunch of orange tier weapons I’ve never seen before. When I looked up the names of them I haven’t found anything and when I use them the weapons are blurred but extremely OP

I always use the sniper/assassin types in the Borderlands games. Mordecai for 1, Zero for 2. Who should I use for 3? Also my favorite sniper is the Lyuda because Vladof snipers are awesome.
Edit: Also the one that you get for completing the quest where you have to kill Dukinos mom.

"#1 The storm.....j/k." Uhhhh, no. It is the best sniper in the game when used correctly. Considering every youtuber plays with their BAR off, yeah, the storm would be bad since it's being used incorrectly. While the Storm isn't the strongest per shot sniper in the game, the subsequent orbs don't work off gun damage. They work off ELEMENTAL damage. So with BAR off, the orbs are sad. With BAR on, and a proper build, the orbs DEVASTATE enemies, and can one shot most mobs, especially on Gaige. Use the Storm correctly people.....watch them melt.

This is a completely random thing.But I’ve been a Krieg main for quite a while now.I was a hardcore melee guy,but as you know that doesn’t work well on OP’s...so I switched to a Gun Dps/Hellborn.I noticed the difference in dialogs between the two builds.Mania Build Krieg always had well yanno...Krieg Dialog,Crazy screaming shit.I noticed the Gun Dps/Hellborn build has a lot of the quieter sane inside voice for its dialog.Almost like investing in Mania changed him making him either well more of Maniac or leaving clarity in his mind.It’s probably just all my mind but I noticed it and I thought it was kinda interesting.

Snipers in Borderlands make no sense to me, Snipers are supposed to be steathvweapons and typically kill in one shot but In the Borderlands games? No also the second you hit someone with a headshot (and of course DONT kill them) every enemy in the area knows where you are and begins firing at you
Dude massively cool video, two things, bath water, I make a boat load of it every morning which I have with pancakes, secondly, the pitchfork! I swear I'm the only dude who likes it. It looks cool, fun to use, meh maybe not super powerful, but taking out buzzards with a one trigger pull from across the map in the dust is awesome. Still want you to be president cos you're a dude but you gotta think more pitchfork, try saying it out loud when you're in the drive through picking up you bath water latte or chino.

If you do this list again on anything that involves these 3 words. powerful. utility. rare. You should refer to it as the P.U.R rating. Or you could add something like if the guns entertaining. Then you can call it the P.U.R.E Ranking system. Powerful. Usefulness. Rarity. Entertaining. Ranking system or rating.

Playing Borderlands my favorite sniper was the Liquid Orion follows closely by the Volcano. the Lyuda is like the love child of both. I dig it.
