This was a great move by BMW, they took the positive feedback from the M2 and actually had the guts to fit a modern hot saloon with a manual, in spite of the ongoing performance saloon arms race. Proper job. It's also great for the American and Oceanic markets because nobody is going to be able to steal your car. Saves you a bit of change on expensive anti-thieft systems ;)

@@POVDRIVING No the American bit was a joke. Almost all cars in the US have automatic transmissions. When taking your driver's license you're not required to do so in a manual car(weirdly), and most people don't, hence people can't steal your car, because they can't drive a manual away, see?

Don’t get me wrong but I love the Mustang, although I always had a thing for BMWs (first car was a 2004 745li !) and now im thinking of trading in my mustang and getting this M4 beauty now that I have the money. Think its a good investment?
Frosty Caps Definitely an upgrade, the M4 is on another level. I’ve driven both Mustangs and BMW’s, both great cars. M4 is more agile and bulletproof. The Mustang is more mad. But M4 is pretty nuts also when you really punch it.

Not really, sadly. The Ferrari is on another level, especially the 458. I've driven one, briefly. That thing feels like a F1 machine, not a car. The M4 is a car, but its one of the best in the category. A modified M4 can also be an option, then you can smoke 458's :)

Yes. The real power comes at higher RPM's. If you floor the car at 1850rpm then nothing happens until you hit around 3k, it's quite turbo laggy. But once the turbos spool up, it's stupid fast and will spin in 2:nd gear.
I agree to a certain point. There are more comfortable benefits of the automatic, and its easier to drive fast. But the manual is more engaging and much more difficult to push hard. So it depends on the driver, personally i'd take the manual and upgrade to hybrid turbos. :D
V8s contributes to climate change not natural occurrences and the fact that a single cargo ship gives out the same out put of all the cars on the us does in one year. Lmao gotta get a good kick out of car reviews. Lovely vehicle however.

No, the only analog are the needles, the numbers are digital, not real numbers.
