Those are amazing skills bro. I wasn't a collector some weeks ago I left it four years ago after my weeding and now I'm into 1:12 collectibles thanks to you
Would you ever consider in the future designing the top of the building where Dana use to have her apartment at Spook Central? I really enjoy the end of the original Ghost Busters movie the scene where their is trans-dimension opening of the Top of building and their a glass like pyramid and both of the gargoyles are prancing around and the goddess pets one of the gargoyles that once we're statues on the 22nd floor. Your friend Stephen Perry.
Hi Stephen, thanks for the question. I don't think that's one I'd plan to tackle myself-- I love that scene and it's a pretty fantastic set, but it would be too big for my space, and I also loathe painting concrete, haha. In this case it was fun because I was doing a building that is painted a different color than the raw greyish concrete mix. This one also had fun details like the sign and the name of the firestation, so I always look more for that kind of stuff when picking which project I want to make. Cheers!
Hi Ibrahim, it turned out fantastic!! So enjoyed watching the video, and giving so much insight on how you made it. Yes lots use magnets 🧲 in dioramas these days as it can give you so many options without breaking anything. The details you did am very impressed ( as that what makes it come to life) great video as always bud 👍 😀
Todd, thank you so much, my friend! And to your point: after I posted this, the Ghostbuster figures kept falling over (Mezco feet often have a curvature to them rather than being flat) and so I actually embedded tiny magnets into their peg-holes on the bottoms of their boots, and then inserted larger stronger magnets into the underside of the diorama, and so far they've stayed upright. I still need to pick up some of that museum liquid you recommended in one of your videos!
@@Ibrahim_M nothing stronger than a magnet. But that would mean those figures have to be in a certain place very time. Yes the gel would work easily on those size figure's, as I do use it most of the time on 1/6 figure's. Just got to play around with it to get the best results for what you want the gel to do.
@@toddscollectibles980 Definitely will-do! Yeah, the only way the magnets are a viable longterm solution is if I can find a way to line the whole base with metal. I think the gel is a better fix, haha.
You definitely deserve more subs. I try to share as often as I can.
That really means a lot to me-- thank you so much!
