It is not ecstatic or ecstasy. It is tongues. Why must put the label ecstasy. If you cannot understand something, does not mean it is ecstasy. It is very normal to those who can speak in tongues. Yes, some may also speak in other languages, but you may thought they are gibberish but it is actually another language. There was a case of a person speaking in tongues but was actually a mongolian language in a very remote place or village or certain tribal language. And this person happened to be in the congregation and heard it. So does it mean this person is speaking gibberish because we don't understand the language. There are so many languages in this world you would not have heard of. Some dialects sound like singing.
You cannot understand about speaking in tongues unless you have done so, just like you will not understand about making something you have never done before. Can you speak about cooking a Filipino dish if you have never done it before or can you speak about algorithm if you do not know algorithm. You won't be qualified to speak about algorithm if you do not know algorithm or teach about algorithm. if you have not tasted durian, can you explain the taste of durian. No. Or if you have not experience the roller coaster, can you explain the feelings of riding a roller coaster, no. Same thing with tongues. To be qualified to speak about tongues, you need to first experience speaking in tongues, otherwise, best to leave this subject and speak on subject that you know.

Pastor Doug doesn't acts 5:32 the holy spirit would never go against the obedience to the law of God. Yet, pentecostal churches say .they don't need the law because they have the holy spirit. But the word says. To Those Who Obey Him . I started out a Baptist then pentecostal. Then truth 7th day worship on my knees asking God For his Will be placed in my heart. God knows the future, why did He choose people whom He knew would disobey Him in the end, like King Saul. Also, does that mean He already knows who will and will not be saved in the end?
If I know that you will die in 3 days will I not keep treating you?
Same with Saul he was qualified as king but his free will and his own pride got to him
Same with Lucifer he was a stunning angle but God gives free will so that our love will be genuine and that we will be free
Lucifer chose to dissobeye
Same with Judas Jesus pulled him and pulled him and preached and washed his feet but Judas chose selfishness
So when there will be no more sin it will be genuine not programmed
When God prophecies he only tells what the consequences of the free will will happen
When he propheciesed about someone who was going to betray him Judas heard that but he still chose to do it he was not forced
If I see my son staring at a cookie jar all day when I prohibited him to get a cookie I'm propheciesing that he will do it and I can tell it to my son "you are going to dissobeye me and eat that cookie my son will hear what I said but still choose to dissobey"
Even with me when I sin against God and he litterlay convicts me saying you will sin and it will be bad for you (I will sin because I do not seek him) I feel convicted but I sin anyway and then it came to pass that it was bad for me
But as you see even tho God knows and he said it to me he worked with me to prevent it
Even tho my son looks at the cookie jar I know you will fall if you won't stop looking at it
But my and his free will to dissobeye or Obey is our choice
And even tho it has the greatest consequences it has also shown that we have received the greatest love that we know for sure the latest everyvone who loves God and that there will be no more sin will be genuine that like the prophecy of Judas that he would betray was fulfilled
So will be the prophecy of no more rising of sin will be fulfilled
And the amazing part is it will all be of free will and genuine love not of force or some power

I don't quite understand what Ps. Doug said ...maybe I wrong...but it sounded like he said after Jesus resurrected He went to heaven then came down back again then appeared to the disciples then went back again from the mount of Olives when the disciples watched Him assented???? It that what he is saying...not doubting it but never really understood it like that...
What he said is that after Jesus rose He went to Heaven before seeing the apostles.

How could Jesus say He saw satan fall from heaven if He had not yet ascended to heaven? Was He using His divinity?
Jesus is the Word and He existed before the foundation of the universe. He has always been there. See John 1, first couple of verses. He saw Satan fall because He was there. We aren't told in what form the Word existed before He became the man Jesus, (it is however inferred.) but we are told that the Word became flesh and dwelled with man in John 1:14. Remember when Jesus said "Before Abraham was, I am"?.

The vision given to John was a prophecy about the history of the church and the end times and not an historical account of the life of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Does that help you at all?

The same principle can be applied to Noah's ark. God is not restricted by volume the ark could have on the outside the size of a bathtub but have infinite space on the inside so let's stop trying to prove just how so many animals could have fit in it.
I love the sermons and the study of The Word of God, I just don’t like the songs. The lyrics are great I just don’t like them, the sound etc. I found out the Christian songs I enjoyed aren’t to be listened to because of the actual music behind the songs. It’s sad cuz they sound so much better than these. Hopefully I will learn to like these boring songs or find better versions of them somewhere .

I take it Herod died Shortly after Christ was Born...I thought Herod lived a while longer after he gave the order to murder all the new born babies and Mary and Joseph had already fled with baby Christ to Egypt shortly after his Birth...
@@Bruce.-Wayne Right, and also The Bible never says the same day Herod died Joseph, Mary and Jesus returned from Egypt.
Historians didn't know the exact year Herod died when they set up the BC and AD time. They later found it written on something archeologists unearthed. Keep in mind BC and AD didn't exist until the 500's. What they did know was that Jesus was born just before Herod the Great died. They couldn't very well go through all the historical record and change the dating.
