- Richard Beaumont takes us directly into the main issue for those with a Split or Quadruple Split Definition. Richard provides several examples in explaining what trouble can come to those who fall into the Not Self traps. This is a rather educational video and one that can be incredibly useful for viewers who are engaged in their Human Design experiment. It provides an important way for Split Definitions to view themselves and reflect upon their lives through the particular focus on this video. A video not to be missed!

Eye opening video! Your explanation of these splits and hanging gates is really packed full of important details! I’ve never been able to sort out the splits with any kind of real understanding. Thank you! I’m single def (😊) but have a sister with quad split and I’m finally understanding how to be more accepting of her I have lots of ‘friends’ with triple splits 😵 and always struggle to interact with them for very long before I feel I need to be alone. I’ve got all but 3 centers open.

Thank you Melissa. Good to hear. Yes, your sister has her hands full with 4 Definitions in her and your acceptance and understanding would mean a great deal to her. Quads need regular contact with the same auras to help them keep their balance. But yes, with six Centers open you can easily become overqwhelmed with super defined people. Well done on your growing awareness of this. :)
Oh this is so cool! My partner is a split definition and I have a channel that makes it “join” (31/7). It plays out all the time. He has access to deep spiritual information and also intuitive knowing but is at a loss about how to communicate it. I love to help him express his ideas clearly to people, in a way they can understand 😊

How fascinating..
I have the 12 and 35 hanging and I always had the urge to express drama or something powerful. It's like I've been trying to reach out for emotions to express, to no avail, because I don't have those emotions at the other end. I've always found that I'm much better at helping others voice their emotions. I have the voice, others have the emotions.
Human design has helped me alot in this regard. I no longer have a relentless desire for emotional/dramatic expression.

This is so true, Richard! My splits are from throat to heart (45) and from the throat to spleen (16). Oh how I wish I had the necessary funds to gather together to help my business grow and provide for myself and my loved ones, but it feels impossible for me!
And then of course there are these people in my life who expect these things from me and it's just not who I am, which frustrates them to no avail, but what can they really expect when asking a fish to climb a tree?

Thanks for this comment. Turn it around Kam-vz4yo - who do you know who has the 45 and needs someone to deal with the controls in their business, which 16 who is eager to run the experiment is looking for yo and your depth solutions. We do not have to be what we are not. :)

Excellent, take a good look. Watch them play out. Remember that though the propensity to live them out in the mind will be there, but your S & A is the primary mover in someone in their experiment. :)

What a very insightful video this is, Richard. I am a 5/2 Generator and the first example really resonated with me and my experience. I have 16/48 chanel, plus the 15/5 that connects my sacral to my identity. However, I have gate 33 hanging, but no 13 to connect to and hence, the countless times I'd express myself and be misunderstood or greeted with resentment and that "I know and you don't "😅 I'd normally agree and move on with grace, for it isn't my duty to be convincing others of my truth. I am here to live my truth.
Then there is someone I know who has the entire channel 32/54, yet only gate 28 hanging, but no 38 to fight for their individual purpose. This particular example was super helpful to me. Thank you so much for sharing your energy and wisdom with us all 🙏✨️🙌🏻

SO much easier being a single definition.... but then again, those 'splits' are happy being split! Or they should be! We get to understand how we operate, then fall in love with our design/its possibilities & later get to love 'us'! I'm so happy being me. I might think I'm great BUT a world full of me's? That would be a nightmare!! One is more than enough. Lol. Thanks again, Richard, for your insights....
Yes wakingtheworld, of course, I agree with you being a Single Definition too. But hey, without the Split Definitions we would not benefit from their greater wisdom in relating. Variety is the spice of life eh! :)
A bit late to this party but yup loved this video as usual.
I have 5 and 34 as my bridging gates and it’s actually hilarious how often I make a ‘family meal planner’ or work out schedules etc…I barely last a day!
Not sure how to interpret the 34 though…don’t be powerful?!

Gate 16 and 21 would make me single definition (and a Manifestor, too! 😮). It's good to know, so I can be even more aware of it... not easy 😅

Yes Starshine, just the other day I was thinking it's almost time for me to come out and play once more. I am regularly invited to venues all over the world but haven't responded to any for the past few years. However putting together my own event in the UK (and in collaboration with others possibly the USA) for some really special experiments does bring my energy up. I will need numbers to really show what is possible beyond what I have already discovered. Now this Channel is working well in my outreach I reckon the time is drawing near to my return to the live stage and we can all witness some mind-blowing stimulation. In short: "I will be back". :)

Hi @Richard. I am a small split on 16 gate and / or 44 gate and 26 is conscious with define heart and 48 conscious and unconscious with define throat. 🤔🤔🤔 now the problems come because I don't blame myself but allway others😅😅😅
Hi enemonica, your 26 will have to surrender to the instinct of the 44 which will try to manage you and the 16 can be very specific and vocal in their like of dislike of your potential logical solutions, so yes, I can imagine you can run into some issues with others. :)
I agree. So cool. Now, what if your partner, lover, friend has the other side of the bridge? Can you borrow each other's energy to make a semi-functional channel? Oh, and is it better to pair with black (conscious), red (unconscious), or mixed, full channel vs just the gate?
Thanks for the question Sue. If you both have one side of the Channel, this is called an 'electromagnetic' connection which adds the spark to relationship - both attractive and, at times, repelling. No comment on which is best, black or red as choosing partners based on such things is not the way it works. Simply put you will be meeting others with the opposite Gate in all kinds of Colors and Lines as part of your movement through life. :)
Hey Richard, when you have a bridge with another person, for how long last the bridge and how near to a person do you have to be to connect a bridge ? thanks
Hey Jasmijn, roughly 15 feet. The longer you are with them the longer it takes for the influence to dissipate. But please remember, you are designed to be a Split Definition and experience multiple versions of the opposite Gate. There are 1080 variations. :)
Hhaah thank you Richard, another great one! Looking at 42, 3 and 36 hahah whoopa, yep... So could one say I'm trying to finishs things while trying to create crisis in order for things to really mutate and change beyond limitations hahaha Maybe yes. So instead..hmm trying to be ok with limitations (ooph thats a hard one), let others finish what I started and let others create crisis where I can bring change into? Hmmm.. feels all slightly uncomforable hahah but perhaps better then trying to be what I''m not x'D
Ho Ho! Think of it as you not having to finish things or find a new energetic order or needing to become emotionally overwhelmed through new experiences. Phew! Life just got a whole lot easier eh! :)

Every single part of my chart is split! Why would my soul choose this? 😅 I’m still learning about human design but NGL it’s kind of a bummer to see so many elements of myself as what feels “incomplete” - what would be the purpose of this? Thanks
Hi Rebecca, You are not incomplete, you are here to live a unique life framed by your Design. Enjoy being different :)
So how does it work out for the individual who has a purpose Gate 28 but unable to fight for it, not having 38?
Should they wait for a transit?
It's not just transits, you will naturally draw in others with that gate, when it is needed.
Hi Maureen, Transits come and go and as ND-mi5zg says you will naturally come into contact through the attraction of the opposite Gate in others. But also consider that you were not designed to have to fight for your purpose. Follow your S & A for long enough and you'll see that you have everything you need already in you. :)

Then if human design is sacredly contructed why are we troubling all the time?
Our natural state has been distorted by conditioning. Human Design is here to re-address the balance in alignment to the Yin and the natural order. The irrefutable truth inherent in the system is getting out to more and more people. Eventually there will be a tipping point and you will see far less trouble. It takes time. Patience is a necessary part of the equation. As you see in the comments on this Channel the discovery of the knowledge naturally leads to experimentation which leads to greater awareness and acceptance, tolerance and compassion follow. One doesn't overcome hundreds of years of ignorance and deception overnight. But the tide will turn, the truth cannot be stopped now. I believe it is the antidote to the misery that pervades so much of the world. Each one of us is precious, but so few fully realise it. Once they do, the embrace of their uniqueness changes everything.
What a world it would be if they taught Human Design at school - yes, I'm an idealist xx
