To bad this car is 125K euro ('base' without competition pack) in the Netherlands.. We're really getting screwed over massively overhere with car prices by both the manufacturers and mainly government (tax)..

I'm sure it can be even worse, mainly in countries with very good wellfare etc (scandinavia etc).. All that stuff has to be paid from something, so taxrates are very high..
It's also done with the excuse of trying to promote "cleaner" cars, so they make these not so clean cars extremely expensive by huge taxation.. Base price BMW asks for a M4 is 67K euro, then our goverment adds a nice 33K in Co2 tax and charges 21% VAT tax over all that adding another nice 14K.. That's 47K tax in total over a 67K car (70% tax in total).. Nothing to do with decent taxation anymore if you ask me and it makes these cars totally unreachable for normal people, they are only for the very rich..
As a car nut I wished I lived on a country like the USA, where these type of cars are still reachable for anyone with a normal decent job.. I now have to settle for older 2nd hand models because I cannot afford them new.. New highend cars are hardly sold overhere anymore (only leased by companies), the taxation has completly killed the privateer market for new cars.. Lots of people driving arround in older models, so much for this socalled "clean" car promotion.. It's only about the money the goverment needs, the environment etc is just a convenient excuse..
Haha, nothing compared to Turkey where you pay around 250 to 350k Euros for a 7 series BMW, that M4 as example would cost around 180k€. Not to forget that the normal people outside of Istanbul & co. earn only a couple of hundreds as salary each month. If you drive a C220 people will think that you are involved in the mafia or something. :D Nevertheless, due that such cars getting really remarkable.

It's the artificial sound coming from the speakers. BMW's stock exhausts aren't so loud. Good noise cancelling...
