Hazy with restrained bitterness, juicy yeast-derived aromatics, and a dry body. A refreshing and super drinkable hoppy beer with notes of cantaloupe, grass, and nectarine. - Untappd

As someone who has drank like 75+ beers from Bellwoods, I've always loved 'em. One of my favorite Canadian breweries, and I still remember when they first released this one like 10 years ago. It used to look and drink like an old school Vermont or East Coast IPA, but they changed a lot of their recipes to become hazy beers. I haven't had it since 2017, though. Sucks that you found it underwhelming, but totally understand. I would say if you see any of their Jelly King variants, which is a dry-hopped sour that typically has fruit additions, or their barrel-aged beers like Bring Out Your Dead or Skeleton Key, give 'em a go. They're pretty fun. My favorite hop-forward beer from them is Roman Candle. If you see it, I'd recommend that, as well. Price point is definitely high, but it's imported from Canada via Remarkable Liquids, which you mentioned, so I chalk it up to I don't have to go to Canada to grab 'em, haha!
    Nice review, Dan.
    Cheers!

@@averagejoe716 Thanks for all of the info Joe! I’m not surprised that you’re well educated on this brewery. I knew almost nothing about them up to this point. Sounds like they have some awesome beers in their arsenal! I’ll have to try and find more options from Bellwoods! Appreciate the details! 🍻
