Can feel a massive NWOBHM influence in Overkill's first album, especially this song which is one of the most melodic of thrash metal selections that is also surging with bitter rage and dissonance. Can see elements of Maiden's earlier style from their two masterpieces with Paul DiAnno. This song sounds a lot like Killers on steroids. But nothing on earth prepared me for the highly intricate and colorfully phrased main solo, that hit me out of nowhere. Overkill only went from strength to strength and to this day they are one of the greatest live bands ever.
