Thank you Joel. You are the reason I am able to sleep AT ALL. You have no idea how thankful for the stories I am. I have severe nerve damage in my legs, so they hurt 24/7. You are my hero.
Story Number 13 about the abusive father....that was horror and terrifying. How awful that the author suffer such torture and not be triggered. I hope he gets some help, he is suffering P.S.T.D. without a doubt.
I felt the same way, my heart dropped out of my chest for this one. I wish I could just bundle them up in a hug and tell them that they are amazing for enduring so much suffering. It's not their fault, and they never deserved to be treated like that. 😣 I hope that they can find help for their PTSD, and the love they deserve in this life. ❤️
Amazing, scary reddit stories! It is scary how there are break-ins! Watching a movie, playing video games, and being on an iPad sounds like fun! I watched "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" at school, partially in French and partially in English. I feel bad for the father who was divorced in story 13. I don't like it when people divorce. And how could the mother do that to her own son?! Also, how could the other father leave his family in story 14?! The family's life would have been so much better if he didn't. I also feel bad for all the victims who got hurt in some of these stories. :( God bless them! There's no guarantee that your home is fully protected. Be careful everyone.
Recently my Uber eats guy like beggeD me to get into his car 'just for five minutes" obviously I refused I'm gay and was so weirded out and then a couple of days later the same GUY TURNS UP WITH FOOD(MY USUAL ORDER) BUT I NEVER ORDERED IT! Is that sketch to you? I'm a girl living alone so it sketched me out for sure and especially because the food was something I had ordered before and my usual flavour of drink 😩
Ahhh yes, the common theme of the police never being able to do anything to help anyone. Same thing that happened to me repeatedly over the span of a year when I had a stalker. Even when he stood under my balcony at midnight for 3 hours while I sat there on my couch with a baseball bat waiting for him to climb up and break into my apartment. They can never do anything until it's too late, can they? Smh. If it wasn't for the victim services branch of the police department (their own building separate from the actual police department) I wouldn't have ever gotten over any trauma from that year I was stalked by the man who roofied me at a party. It truly gives you a certain type of trauma when a man you never knew roofies you, and tucks you into your own bed. You know they know where you live, you know they've been in your home and in your bed. If it wasn't for the fact that he didn't steal any of my apartment keys I would have constantly been paranoid he made a double for my apartment. Luckily he didn't, he only used my keys to get me and him into my unit so he could violate me and then leave. But the stalking at that apartment went on for a year before he finally suffered legal consequences. No thanks to the police though. Glad I moved 3-4 years ago from that place and I haven't had any issues since. I hope he never finds my new address.
Sorry that happened to you. I once came home to my front door smashed, completely broken. I called the police and told them. A few minutes later they called me back and said they can't do anything because my house isn't in the city limits. The sign is a 20 second walk from my mail box. Funny, they have no problem coming into my driveway and harassing me for burning tree trimmings out back (which is legal here in """"the country"""") and giving me speeding tickets as I park in my driveway. This isn't about one officer either. All events include at least 4 different ones. Male and female. One of them told me if I keep burning, he will send the fire department and I'll have to pay the fees for them putting out the fire. I reported him and he never came back. Just criminals in uniforms.
That professor's story was scary af 😮 Like I was genuinely scared for him. Thank goodness he survived 😊 Scary lady at the store reminds me of this girl from highschool who was going around telling everyone that she was pregnant with Luke Perry's kid. But she wasn't like that scary lady.
To the person who ahared your story of abuse , im so sorry you had to go through that. Im sorry That your mother either couldn't or wouldn't protect you.I know what it's like to grow up in a volatile abusive home.I hope you're doing well and wish nothing but the best for you in the future
JOEL. I NEED MORE PARANORMAL STORIES THEY ARE MY FAV AND I'VE BINGE LISTENED TO ALL OF THESE AT LEAST 20 TIMES EACH. PLEASE PLEASE A REALLY LONG ONE WOULD BE GREAT @let'sread
That principle story vibe hits eerily close to a sort of moment I had with my father which later made me realize why the hell would think that is appropriate to tell a child. (For context it was a war story attached to a photo he showed of some physical damage that happened to him)
To the woman who is all stressed out about the bloody ethernet cord, don’t worry. Well, I suppose you could worry a little bit as what I’m about to tell you isn’t the nicest ever. That said, you can rest easy because nobody was stabbed or strangled with the offending cable. Take it from a recovering heroin addict, the cord was actually used to tie off a vein so someone could inject heroin or fentanyl. Apparently, the junkie was successful…hence, all the blood.
For the story of the abused 2nd grader. Makes me so mad people abuse children. You don't need a ghost or paranormal humans are the real monsters. Alot of guys I knew in the army had abusive pasts and I've heard alot of bad stuff. Omg seething I hope life is better for you now.
I found a dude walking down the road in the pouring rain, offered a ride to him & we ended up together for about a year. It was interesting & I'm glad he said yes. Found another dude strolling in the blistering heat & insisted he let him give him a ride. It was years later & I wasn't lookin' for some ~ thing, one, ti do so I dropped him where he was headed. Used to hitch a lot, I did, & I get not havin' wheels. Just let them know, you're offering help, not your throat. Have fun with this, I know a few of you will ...
Lmfao oh yes bloody cord means has to be a crime happened there. No possibility of someone cutting themselves doing work to fix a cord and forgot to pick up the cord they bled on that would be crazy only bad things possible.....smh.
The mom was probably abused too....most people think it's easy just to pick up and leave an abusive situation, but it's not. My father abused me, my mom, and 3 siblings for years. My mom was a stay at home mom and my father controlled all finances and didnt want my mom working, so even if my mom left she wouldn't be able to keep us safe and off the streets. Long story short, we were homeless for years but thankfully family friends let us stay with them. My mom worked 3 jobs and busted her ass for years just to afford a small apartment for us. Our lives completely changed, but it was for the better. I don't blame my mom for not leaving right away. I understand how paralyzed she was from the abuse and at the time she thought she was doing the best thing by keeping our family together and had faith my father would change.
I had a Uber driver stalker who would wait near my house and wait until I requested a ride so that he could instantly except it. Honestly there’s no other way to explain it. He always excepted my ride. And one day while I was sleeping because I worked overnights. He came to my house.! My roommate for some reason let him in!? And he went up to my room?! I freaked out and he didn’t understand what was the problem. I told him to leave. Then he went to my work where I was at a senior living facility! And just walked through the back door which was for employees only and entered into the kitchen and tried to come find me and an employee had to tell me that somebody was there for me?! And once again I told him to leave. It was insane! Looking back on it it’s quite terrifying. Had to threaten to call the police repeatedly for him to get that it was not okay! He was furious? ! Habitually stepped over the line! Thankfully he disappeared after that. I would cancel any of the rides that he picked up.
You mean he "accepted" your ride requests (excepted is totally different and would more likely mean he didn't want to give you a ride). Why would your roommate let a stranger in and let them go up to your room while you were asleep?? Hope you set them straight! Instead of frequently threatening to call the police why didn't you just call them after threatening him the first time? Glad he is no longer bothering you!
Title makes it sound like driver took a no tip order and now wants you to tell him to his face why. (Love the title) I gotta take the dig at the drivers who do that. I used to drive. If the order sucks, DO NOT take it. But some people just can't wrap their mind around the whole concept of "independent contractor".
Is it just me or does it seem alot scarier having food delivered by Ubereats/Doordash rather than having it delivered by an actual restaurant employee?
I'm so happy there are new stories tonight....much love all, from Ireland 🍀

Not an abusive father, about the abusive boyfriend the mother moved out and brought her children to.
That was horrifying and disturbing. The monster should be rotting away 6 feet under.
I’m curious now but I’ll probably be asleep by that time
Not saying this 1 isn't but some of these stories i wonder if are actually true or not?
Awesome my night just got better thank you Joel LETS READ ROCKS 😎😎
