Had a Chance to see Him and his Band inLA at the Shrine!!, That was in the early 70s. For The Bridge of Sighs Album! Tickets were$6.50! The Show Was STELLAR!
Dyed in the wool tru believer since day one, have all-bums thru Victims of the Fury on week of release. Bridge of Sighs, Dark Side, Machine Head, Foghat Live & Starz(debut) are 5 of my - out of my "Cold Dead Hands" staples among others, in all forms - LP, 8track, Cassette, C.D. & Digital. " D.P. ~ Long Live (Rock 'N' Roll) " ✌️😝✌️
My favorite too. Full of bad ass tunes. Thanks for this funky post. This is frickin awesome. First tune on this album...great intro. Let's not forget Bill's groove. Thank you .
Thanks to Robin's iniitable style and to also Frank Marino, one cannot imagine the vacuum that would have been with Jimi's passing (saw a number of times in awe) without either! Screw Fleetwood Mac!
Been a fan of his since the mid 70s, all his albums were great. This is what great music sounds like, past 20 yrs has been a big disappointment for rock.
Caravan to Midnight did not strike me as a noteworthy Robin Trower album when I bought it upon it's release. Over the years it has come to be my favorite of the James Dewar era of Robin Trower albums. I know that simply by how frequently I have and still do listen to it.
Apart from the title track, at the time I was disappointed by this album after the quality of the previous ones, now I listen and it feels magical compared to all the crap churned out by many modern bands. Have seen Robin many times and I really miss Jimmy Dewar and what he may have gone onto to do. Such is life.
I'm Out To Get You and Lost In Love , Should have received FM and AM Radio Air Play but I have been told Trower's management was the big problem . 🎆☮️🎸✨✨🎼✡️
Yes, I'm Out To Get You" is one of the greatest songs of all time. It should have been a massive hit. Lost In Love is also such a wonderful song. I love that period in Trower's history. Incidentally, his new one, "No More Worlds To Conquer," has a few tracks that revisit that sound in case you haven't heard it. Best album that he has put out in years in terms of songwriting and vocalist Richard Watts is channeling James Dewar.
Back in the day I didn't like this. Way too slow and mellow for my tastes. In my old age, I"ve become more open minded about music and this sounds pretty good.
I like Robin !! Im big fan. ! And im glad he is still play and joy my soul and rock world !!!...
Thank you Diana,Robin James and Bill will always be my favorites.
Fantastic album with the participation of Brazilian percussionist Paulinho da Costa. One of Robin Trower's greatest works. Hugs from Brazil.
Thank You Diana- Lisa Dewar and I use to email each other - She told me the history behind her Dads songs . 🎸🇺🇸✨✨✨✨☮️

Same here, Caravan and In City Dreams not so much when I was young. Love them now.
Bill Lordan is a piece of shit grifter, Jack. Don't by his bootleg bullshit. He'll sell you Mozart's clothes and swear that he sewed them all by hand.

They have been underestimated .

2:28 dirty lowdown
My least favorite of the Dewar albums. Can't get enough of the title track though! The rest is rather weak.
