It's not a point of being popular or not but the litteral part of the game. All Trackmania is about to hunt the perfect WR, and it's obvious that when one get beaten, it encourages many other to try and beat it too.

Not really honesly, because the times are so good it filters a lot of people, so the only people who have a shot at a WR are old heads who probably would hunt other tracks than a double bugslide with wall bang that is already super optimized by Wirtual. So the only competition would be crosshairs, who stopped playing the game, and maybe a wildcard that wants to hunt but its unlikely, but you never know with bugslides and wallbangs.

(Because there's so many classic maps)
I would say something about Mayo, but all Mayo tricks were patched recently in Track mania Nations Forever. They removed Mayo Slides, Mayo Bugs, and Mayogasums. 😢 🥛🥛🥛

The only rule was no pushing your record after you have the high score (mainly to keep our sanity and actually have time to get school work done lol) would be fun to run some challenges with my friends on trackmania. Maybe pick 3 maps and run the same thing to make it a best of 3.
