You are absolutely CORRECT!! these kids growing up today have zero respect for anyone because they have not seen any consequences. I'm Generation X. if someone ran their mouth , they got punched in the face. That's how you learn to respect another person. Today, if children get into fights, they are treated as if they are mentally disturbed. It's sad.

What I don’t like about strictly blaming the new generation is 2 fold. 1. It releases parents of the new generation of responsibility for not teaching their children to not do this stuff. 2. It releases older generations from the heinous things they have said over centuries. Older generations called people slurs and different insults way more often. They may not have gone up to athletes faces and said it but those tendencies get passed down over generations. Older generations also said it more often because we had taught those athletes to “be the bigger man”. Dehumanizing athletes to not fight back and to think those generations could get away with it. Now, you can’t get away with that stuff cause everything is being recorded. Everyone is complaining about the newer generations like it wasn’t millennials and gen x calling us slurs in cod lobbies while we were growing up, letting us think it’s just what people do
