- May the 4th be with us!!!
Energy filled gig!!! I’ve heard another recording from May 7th ‘94 and I feel this one is probably better and includes a few tunes not played on the 7th. Gary Husband is BRILLIANT all over this! And this may be the most energetic version of Devil Take The Hindmost I’ve ever heard. Hope you enjoy it!

Saw this year and band , this is fkn amazing… Allan said at Catalina LA “ Hope Gary doesn’t scare you guys too much “ 😂 Allan haunted harder than I’d ever seen him , yes scare me baby , please !!!!!!
Great setlist. One of my favorite Holdsworth bootlegs!
I've seen Allan live a half dozen times and this version of his band was my favorite; great concert!
Oops, gotta take it back; Chad was playing drums when I saw this band.
The way they end songs is like a séance or a magic trick. So fucking unbelievably mysterious and eyebrow catching. These guys were pure magic.
Saw this tour 1994 Great American music hall, San Francisco Allan peaking husband on fire…
Gary Husband is a total genius .
what he does on devil take the hindmost is insane in this recording
OK this gig is explosive!!! unreal mastery/expression/elegance/connection and with some 'rare' live songs. Thank very much for sharing!!
Amazing performances... Allan was really on fire on this gig
Good grief Allan is wailing in that first solo! They're all on fire here. And Skuli doesn't get nearly enough credit.
skuli provides more notes than a law student
Me gusta!😊❤
Probably the best live Pud Wud available for us to listen to, I appreciate the length of his solo on this one. Edit: and I only just realised he included some parts to Above and Below in his Zone improv!
Losts of wonderful recordings emerging of Allan the genius. His Ruhkuka solo is close to studio one. Yet he left UK as he didn't like playing the same thing twice 🤔
I honestly prefer this live Ruhkukah solo to the studio version of it. That tends to be the case for me with most of his songs, he just plays on another level live, completely letting his ideas flow. I wish there were more existing recordings of the song being played live as well. They show up from 1992-1995 I believe, but after that he never seemed to play it again.
Can't thank you enough for uploading these, great setlist and performances on this one. I luckily got to see him play in late 2015, a night I will never forget.
Thank you so much for this
THNX !!!!!!!!!!!!!
