This song always takes me back to when I took a Greyhound bus from Arkansas up to Chicago for my flight home to Germany after the eclipse. Sailing through endless oceans of corn fields in pale moonlight and a clear night sky full of stars. I felt very lonely. It was the end of one of the greatest adventures of my life

I had some major health issues that came out of no where this time last year. I had to get emergency surgery and woke up in the ICU with a beard because I had been unconcious for days. I only remember being checked into the hospital keeled over in more pain than I could ever discribe. I didnt know if I was going to die, I was terrified but in too much pain to think logically and body was shutting down. I lived. It turns out my pancrease exploded and around a 6th of my colon was necrotic and they had to cut it all out. Straight up zipper scar from the bottom of my ribs to my waste. I wasnt allowed to have any water for a week. I could only chew on ice cubes and then have to spit them out because my intestines were patchwork and not ready for any food or liquids. I was in the hospital for almost a month, had to learn how to walk and use the bathroom again at 32 years old. The only thing I had to keep me company outside of my Mom and Dad visiting was a staticy tv and my iphone. This song has always been a favorite of mine. It's a song I find myself thinking about without realizing im thinking about it. I would pull it up through out my stay, usually late at night when I was too terrified to sleep, and it really would, for a moment, teleport my mind out of that hell and into a place that was familiar warm. Deadmau5 has given me YEARS of music and memories. Some great, some... not so much. Deadmau5 will always be one of my heroes.
The reason why his unreleased stuff is """"better than his released stuff"""" is because Joel is unfiltered to make what he wants, and the majority of what you're hearing at the end isn't even music he's added. That's also why he hasn't done a Unreleased album, because he'd have like 300 songs on it. Yet somehow it sounds pretty good, its that premiere deadmau5 sound that once you hear it, you know its him. The way he mixes his songs and albums, he could put out half baked songs and still """"profit"""" based on the sound alone. Maybe Joel realizes this and that's why he ends up not doing it, or maybe he has too big of a high standard for himself and doesn't do more stuff like this. Either way I wish he'd do more ethereal stuff like this where it's not so much a beat but its just soundscapes.
damn, I just found out that Analogical got gutted a long time ago, and merged with the original Hyperlandia. As much as I liked Hyperlandia I feel like nothing compares to the 2016 version of Analogical. RIP.
