Fantastic looking Tomatoes Kit, they are so large and the plants are still looking awesome especially for this time of year !! Great update and plot tour of your garden !! Thanks for sharing
My Tomatoes of the same variety last year didn't get as big and the quality wasn't as good as yours and those little carrots will be very welcoming on your dinner plate.Take care my friend. 🍅Happy Gardening my friend, Terry.
I just found your channel! Your plants look great. I'm in Ireland and growing for a few years. I've just sowed marmande seeds tonight and was looking for some info. Thanks a lot!
Nice looking maters your growing over there, I'm a big fan of raised bed and container gardening, yours are looking really good! New subscriber from east central Mississippi here!! Dan
Looking good, I have smaller tomato varieties, but purchased some Marmande seeds and a few have taken. I am finding only 25% take to life from my 30 seeds purchased. I am in Thailand, so I am hoping these will grow well! If they grow, I can get new seeds, so fingers crossed!
marmande we have it local in Cyprus.. is an acient seed. they may look ungly but is the best taste tomatoes. not much water but flesh. we notice that the worms and all that tond like them much because they have a lot of aroma
Tomatoes are looking great! Nice garden update as well. May I ask why you don't do a fall/winter garden? A cold frame or hoop house and you;d be all set!! Have a great day:)
Fab yeld, marmande tomatoes are costly to buy but a seed packet from lidl 49p approx is a bonus.. I only grew as a last minute idea and just 3toms weighed 2.6lbs..bonus all round😉
Hi mate, those tomatoes did really well. It's that time of the year where everything is slowing down. Have you thought of growing any overwintering crops such as broad beans or brassicas? Take care. Nick
Hello. your video is very interesting. I would like to know how many fruits does this Marmande variety of tomatoes produce on average per plant ? thank you very much
Hi, I just use any multipurpose compost normally the cheapest, you can mix it with normal soil. I try to use organic fertiliser such as chicken manure or seaweed.
It normally comes in pellets that you mix in or sprinkle, I’m going to try some homemade fertilisers this year, I made some stinging nettle fertiliser last year. Nettle fertiliser video ruclips.net/video/hCB08kFPwxo/видео.html

How do you stake/support them? Sorry if this has been answered before. I’m new at this.
I keep seeing conflicting information on whether they're determinate or not
Same here. Have grown for 2 years and pruned the nodes, and done quite well. I might leave one this year to do its own thing
Marmande variety that is
@@jimbull4730 how tall do they get?
No more than 1m i would say. Normally quite bushy
They grow bushy. I let them like that and they are loaded of tomatoes . I dont know if they will grow big but its ok. Mine have 1 meter more or less
Growing these in Thailand but have no idea if they will fruit in the heat.
That’s great, I hope they do well for you. Tomatoes generally love the heat.
Hello. your video is very interesting. I would like to know how many fruits does this Marmande variety of tomatoes produce on average per plant ? thank you very much
I’d say around 20, it depends on your climate and conditions.
@@GrowWithKit Thank you very much for your answer. Alright, that is good. Can you give me approximately the weight of a tomato of this variety ?
@@GrowWithKit Hello. I looked on the internet I saw that the weight of a fruit measures between 160 and 200 grams. Is that right ? thank you
That sounds about right, again a lot depends on growing conditions.
@@GrowWithKit OK thank you very much for your reply and your help.
Beautiful
Thanks 😊 🌱🌱

Kill those spiders before they ley eggs lol
They also eat pests such as aphids, greenfly and caterpillars, all spiders are very beneficial in the veg garden.
