I'm convinced that Li Time is the same as Power queen 😅

I'm not an expert but the real only reason it's not advised is if the battery has an internal battery management system, the high amp draw upon start could get really high...100s of amps and the BMS might be fused or load protected for such high amperage. It's only for a short burst of time at high amperage so that's why it's possible to continue to use this battery for a given vehicle but not advised. However, I think a DIY 50ah (Amp Hour) or greater Lithium Ion battery pack *without a BMS* could used for the best possible alternative battery replacement.

They make 74Ah cells that are rated for 600A discharge. Just throw a passive balancer on there. Maybe a 500A T-class slow blow fuse.

    It’s 6000btu unit?

@@SmitHVAC. wow that’s impressive. How you can start that unit with 1000w inverter. And draws so little power only 520w. I have mini split 9000btu and it says compressor needs 12amp that’s 1440 watt.

@@aquaoceann that's probably its max output. This is an inverter drive system so it can go up as high as 1400w in heat mode

Hell that was nothing, now you should try it to start your pickup, that will tell you a lot more than this did.

I know you're not "supposed" to connect different 12v 100ah batteries in parallel but.... Supposed you have 3 regular batteries and 1 with low temp on it connected in parallel. The 1 battery having low temp should protect them all

      Should work in theory!

I regularly hook them up in series and parallel. It's fine, and the web page says they are safe up to 4s4p or 16 total, but I only have 6 so far. The one thing is, you have to top balance them if you're using them together.

@@andrewt9204 actually you're correct sir and I was wrong. If I had 3 unprotected and 1 protected in parallel the 1 protected would simply remove itself from the bank and the other 3 would continue to operate. It would only work in series
