I love your work. I have worked with wood for many years. I would have covered it in Policryllic first. Then I would have filled in those grooves with air dry clay, spackling etc. That may have been easier!
BEAUTIFUL 😍 tray !! You sure had your struggles at 1st with the tray. Thank you for sharing the entirety of this video the problems & fixes. Thank you again
Idk why I would ever doubt u, but when I was watching the glass go on I was like Brittany, idk about this and damnit, without fail, u prove me wrong. I feel like I should have to say 13 hail Marys .....hail Brittanys 😂😂 Gorgeous as always!! I really love when u step outside the tumblers. Now don't get me wrong, u whip up a perfect tumbler, but I've always had a passion for molds and boards and such! Awesome tutorial!!
***GASP*** NOW MISSY! 😂 Just kidding. To be honest after the first few I was like erm…was this a good choice? Oh well we’ve done it now and it ended up working 🤷♀️ thank you ❤❤
That came out really pretty. I don't know if you've tried it or not, but I also use Huggies brand but the Natural Care version. I've been using that since I started making tumblers because it was suggested to me. I believe there are some different ingredients vs the type you are using right now. Maybe you might give that a try next time you buy some. I hope it helps and I hope you feel better soon! 🥰
I used the unscented naturals for my daughter *sigh* 8 years ago 😢 these are actually cocoa and shea butter “nourish” for sensitive skin. They were on sale so I got them last time and they’re definitely right there with the naturals ones! ❤
I've used wood putty and even regular bondo to fill in stuff like this before. It works for me really well. But I also do countertops and am used to filling cracks and making repairs before epoxy.
So beautiful! Thank you!

I need to be getting me some more trays 😂 Yours are always so beautiful 😍
Thank you! 🤗
Do you think wood filler/putty would work for the grooves?

I have used a wood filler before and it was porous and required a ton of sealing as well. I’ll have to try putty next time though!
@brittanybarnesboutique the tray is gorgeous 🥰 I definitely want to try making one 💙
What glue did you end up using for the glitter for the border after wiping off the other one?
Same glue from southern Belle glitter. Just without the kids washable paint 🤣
