    I love how the lion was just as freaked by the people screaming as the people were at their door opening. "Nope. Not worth it. Leaving now." And thank goodness for that, too.

    Aww, I can't get enough of Ann Jones! She has such a fun way of explaining nature. I could watch her for hours and not get bored. RUclips needs more of her.

    I've loved watching lions since I was a kid. I've seen hours and hours of nature documentaries based around them

    The way of the lions is how many prides, even of domesticated cats are like when both genders are around. The females rule the roost. Noticed that with my three. My two boys give way to my girl.

    Thank you Dr Ann for another great video. I don't know how smart lions are, but I'm never going to get close enough to ask them

    a lion is the king of the beasts. Man is the king of the jungle. Notably Tarzan was the lord of the jungle

    I think the two lions that catch the warthog at the beginning did so by chance; it was not a calculated ploy to chance it into the mouth of the other one. ( They don't have the communication skills! )

    • @lets_measure_it
      @lets_measure_it Год назад +4

      no but they have team structure just like in Aussie rules.
      you cant shout the length of the ground but the good players know where the ball is going to go.
      lions practice these skills because their very survival depends on it

      They do have the communication skills. Just because they don't communicate the way humans do doesn't mean they're lacking. The fact that they can coordinate group hunts *proves* they have the necessary communication skills to suceed and pull off moves like that with the warthog.

    • @lets_measure_it
      @lets_measure_it Год назад

      i wasn't implying they don't communicate, just in the the case of the warthog they can't use vocal communication or they give the game away.
      so they use their practiced tactics.
      i sat talking to a lion in Zimbabwe for about half an hour as he expressed his emotions as eloquently as his restricted vocal chords would allow.

      You have no idea what you’re talking about. Lions do communicate with each other they are very smart.
