Thanks, pal. Thats kinda what reviewers said too. I think I just got lucky my 1st time out: Your Radio Play Today Song Review Hi ShamanzShadow! We have reviewed your track, "Enslaved (Eyes On You)." These things were awesome: This track starts off with a high level of awesome intensity right from the start. The beat is heavy with a dark, metal vibe that is reinforced with the gritty, extreme electric guitars. The bass is heavy and resonant, bringing darkness to the music as the guitars layer together to create a deep, resonant, and expansive feeling. The vocals are a great contrast to the music, with a light and almost gentle female vocal contrasting with the intense and dark metal music. The moments of various effects on the vocals work well to place emphasis in certain areas and keep things flowing in a dynamic way. The echoing really works to add to that expansive feeling. The melodies are beautiful and pensive, with a sad and desperate emotion laced in with the darkness and intensity. "They've got their eyes on you." is a very memorable hook, simple yet catchy and direct, evoking a powerful image. "Won't tell you where I'll go. Won't look back anymore. Is there reality somewhere." Lyrics like this evoke a powerful emotion, giving this track the edge lyrically that it already has musically. Overall this is a great track, packed with a gothic and dark energy that is woven together perfectly with the music. This would take you to the next level: Overall, the song is extremely well crafted and sounds very polished and resolved. There is no specific feedback for improvement. We thought it was an overall solid release and it is definitely ready to be played on the airwaves. Thank you for being a part of Radio Play Today!
Thank you, Rain. I was feeling every bit of that desperation and hopeless and Veela always seemed to have the right things to say, song after song. NOW, I'm gearing up for a couple songs with Alessandra from The Netherlands. A little more exclusive vocalist than Veela and I think she also has that *IT* quality. Away we go again.
LOL, I'm just 1 GUY. Veela is from Canada and songs about 14 of my songs. I grateful to have such edgy, soulful vocals to kick things off with but I am not allowed to use her name. Here's one of my prime Veela tunes. Somehow Veela always managed to sing what was in my heart at the time, unfortunately I don't think this is a radio type tune. ruclips.net/video/qtiZgjC2NQQ/видео.html
you'll never hear Veela sing music like that elsewhere.... I'm surprised the Veela rock songs i have worked out so well because she sings such mellow music. Oh, and thanks for listening..
Thank you sir. I wont even TELL you the audio blasphemy I committed to get that sound. Every producer in existence would say " you can't do that, it will sound like shit". BOOYA... Capitol Records thought it rocked too. Witness next years musical direction.
Oh and by the way... I always give the vocalist center stage, so here's an instrumental version so you can hear with I'm doin. ruclips.net/video/hC5k7uQtoK8/видео.htmlsi=ppbJZaDxrKs1qh3O
KILLER!
Thank You. Did it on a tiny Fender solid state amp cranked up.
💥 💥 💥
(big grin)
Killer, love the heavy instrumentals combined with her voice.
