- How to install an eBay bobber seat on your motorcycle. Our bike is a 2007 vstar 1100 but this process should be about the exact same on a 650. I have used these seats on a Honda shadow, Kawasaki Vulcan, Suzuki boulevard, and a variety of other bikes. They are usually very easy to do yourself with minimal modification if any. You might fight with the springs though. Comment with any questions you may have. Enjoy!

Hey Mica, wouldn’t have putting the top (under seat) springs and nuts on first, then the bottom springs once you had mounted on the bike?
You said you always do the base springs first, but i would thing doing the bottoms last you won’t be able to use a driver, but gravity may help getting a bolt threaded with your fingers easier (?)
Idk why, but I always struggle with it more doing the tops first. Can't explain it lol

what size nuts for the springs?
I think they are 9/16 but I forget

Did you attach the base plate to any part of the frame?
Just zip tied it and called it a day. You could very easily
