What a great idea to use masking tape!! White duct tape overtime shrinks, and leaves a sticky residue and bookbinding tape is ridiculously expensive. Thank you for sharing this great way to do album covers.❤

Thank you for showing this. Question, why do you use masking tape to connect the base instead of a heavier type of tape (book binding tape or tyvek tape for example)?

My guess is she’s just showing a cheaper way to make it. I was surprised she didn’t use white duct tape which is more elastic and much cheaper than tyvek and binding tape.

Hi, In my country I can't purchase any tyvek tape, that's why I figured out to use of masking tape. 😊

Hi, Thanks for watching! 😍 I often use 50 x 70 cm cardstock. The weight is 100 g/m2 or 160 g/m2. I prefer 160 g/m2.
