I am absolutely fascinated by this, like what does the process look like? I'm mindblown
Waauw, phenomenal, this is my favorite one of you up to now! You're really pushing the frontiers of origami.
I'm already consider one of my attempts at insects from Lang a lot of work and I have to try 3-4 times before I make a decent one. I can't imagine the amount of planning and diligent work that went into this.
Thanks! Actually This is probably one of the few origamis of mine where it took me longer to fold than to plan it. I only folded the main structure halfway in the designign stage and decided it works well enough for the purpose. Then went straight to fold the real deal.

You have the patience of a saint. I would've balled it up after folding it 10 times and getting no where. I'm always impressed by a person ability to remain dedicated to something so time consuming and trivial. I mean that in the most respectful way possible. How does one look a piece of paper and calculate what and where you need to fold by how much. It's mind blowing honestly.
