Dood..... I realize I'm a few years behind the curve, but in your review you missed a few things. How deep are the pockets?? Stuff your hand in them to give us an idea as to their depth and what they might hold. This style jacket, made in the Peoples Republic, are notoriously shallow and more for show than storage. "Good material".... ??? Like what?? Silk, nylon, cotton, polyester, acrylic, wool??
Bought the exact same version as this vid. After about 7 weeks of wear, the thing began to unstitch itself in several places. Such beautifully designed garment ruined by abysmal workmanship. Get yourself at Otte Gear version of this same jacket. Far more expensive, but the workmanship is light years better.
Try taking a good paraffin candle (not lit of course) and briskly rub the candle over the zipper teeth a couple of times. That might help loosen the zippers up a little bit.
The whole message I get from this jacket screams....step off! Now that's a nice jacket! This jacket would look good with my LOWA Task Force Zephyr Desert GTX Mid Rise Boot (tan of course).
Looks like a great product but I've always wondered why companies have pocket zippers open when the pull is in the "down" position. Seems like if they were closed in the "down" position they'd be less likely to open by gravity during vigorous activity. Thanks for the great review.
I would suggest if you want to wear layers under it, go a size UP. It has zippers in the pits. And it runs tight if you have a thick sweat shirt or sweater. You can stay fairly warm between 25-30 deg. With a good layer
Great jacket, warm but not waterproof for a long rainy day.
TRUE

***** Nothing wrong with wearing clothes that serve a purpose and look good at the same time. :)

I must have been focusing on something else when you said it, is that green or is it foliage green? Nice review, I like the design and pocket system.
Zipper's are better utilized without the use of velcro like a lot of the mil spec jackets......I like it.....must have list just got longer.
So, it is not recommend it for temperature below 10F?
Great video Preston. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
hood is solid but unremovable. Bummer, should have the option to remove it, folded inside is way too thick
Cut it off then
Nice! I have been looking for something like that for the Spring. Great review.
