What a fantastic guy. I contacted him about trouble with my Sunynk and Svolt batteries. he guided me through everything and it is working perfectly now. He knows his stuff.

hey man great videos!, where does the EL from the inverter go? is there still continuity between Eskom;s incoming nuetral to the Nuetral busbar you connected the Inverter feed to

The earth leakage supplies the plugs and lights only the other is no n earth leakage

Very nice, just to clear up something...please assist..The 4 breakers that's being fed from the inverter for lights, you said it has its own non earth leakage neutral but coming from eskom, when eskom is off how will that work?

Hi Anthony, are your AC in and AC out just normal isolators or are they MCBs?

Hi there I personally use Mcb for overload protection

@@anthonymwambazi7390 Wont the mains take care of the overload as its a MCB? And won't the inverter act as a UPS ensuring no under or over voltage?

Hi Anthony, so the non essentials are completely excluded from inverter? What if you have excess power and want to push it to the non essentials like geyser in the afternoon?

    • @anthonymwambazi7390

Hi Yes if the inverter is a hybrid with grid tie functionality you can supplement Eskom with excess production from the panels on the roof

Hi Anthony, great job man. I just have a concern - why are you not installing an extra E/L for the stove and two geyser circuits? Keep up with the great work and must say I enjoy the videos😁

Thank you those two appliances cause nuances tripping of the earth leakage when moisture builds up on the elements, especially the stove it has a warning on the name plate that says do not connect this appliance to earth leakage it will cause nuances tripping, so we make sure that these appliances are bonded earthed mechanically to avoid electrocution.

This was added in edition 3 because at that stage most houses burned down because of geysers and its connections . Earthleakages prevent fires and saves lives . I think soon more houses will burn down because of solar installations . Keep + and - wires appart from each other in ceiling cavities !!!!!
