thanks sa napaka infotmative na vid.. planning to go there on Nov.. this is just me but I still recomend having a tour guide.. hanap na lang ng kasama para mapababa ang rate, its a way of helping the locals.. kabuhayan nila yun.. several times na ako sa Sagada and naging kaibigan ko na mga tour guide and nagbabayad pa din ako sa kanila kahit kainuman ko sila tuwing gabi..
Agree! 💯
I’m so glad I found your journey! I’m going to the Philippines this year after many years. Watching you inspired me to get out of my comfort zone and travel solo. I’m definitely going to Banaue!
Wow! Thanks, LC ! Enjoy your visit here 😊
Planning to go here in July as well for my bday. You’re a good storyteller. Your vlog is so calming 🤍
Yay! Thank you, Claudine! I really appreciate your compliment 😊 Enjoy your trip to Batad next month! I'm sure you're gonna love the place. A unique and peaceful way to celebrate your birthday. 😊
Why I find serenity in your videos. 🍃🌿
This really made me happy, Magra Vince! I intentionally made it a simple and calming video for me to watch whenever I'm tired from work hehe I am really happy that it serves its purpose 😊💛
I love your painting 🥺 Will use this as a guide when I go to Sagada to write my scripts.
Thanks, Aika! 😊
Ganda ng painting!! ❤
Thanks, Joy! 😃
Thank you for sharing! 💯 solid
Thanks for the appreciation, Joshua! :)

Oh thanks, Eugene! You have amazing videos too! I love it! 😊
I envy you,we were not able to reach the beautiful falls because I can’t really move my legs anymore going to see that beautiful scenery,it’s really an amazing experienced anyway for me to see this wonderful place, the best for me❤️❤️❤️I love seeing repeatedly your video👍👍👍by the way,we wer there just last April this year, really unforgettable experienced!
That's a little sad thing to know, Josielyn. 😔 But I am happy that you enjoyed your visit in Batad. 😊 Maybe next time you visit there you can see the waterfalls 😊
Hopefully🙏
I like your content, nakakarelax lang sobra.
Hi, Lito! Thank youuu for the kind words! The BGM is called "Puppy Next Door "😊
@@lulinghayawnijuan
@@byaherongmanok oh,. i guess wala siya sa RUclips. I think it's only available in VLLO, the editing app that I'm using 😊
Bohol.
Wow! Thanks, Joel! It's your sign to do solo travel too! Such an amazing experience 😀
PS: will solo travel Bohol soon! 😅
Thanks for the advice. Will take note of that 😂
@@joelgaas858 go na yannn!
Hi! Ganda ng video & sounds! Prang gusto ko tuloy pumunta jan pra mg soul searching😁. Do u think its safe ba for solo female?🤔. Prang natatakot aq😅
Hi, Eva! Thank youuu! I think it's safe to travel solo in Batad or anywhere in the Philippines. I actually met a female solo traveller from Brazil when I went to Batad and other female solo travellers when I visited different places in the Philippines. 😊 You know, there's always danger in every place regardless of gender. We just need to always be careful and trust your gut feeling 😅
Hi@evab724 I'm going solo this November. Tara! Kita tayo sa Batad or Benguet! :)
I mean Banaue :)
Planning to go on a solo adventure din sa Batad this July. Bagay na bagay yung bg music sa sceneries, may I know where did you search for bg music.
Hi, Kay! 😊 All of my BGM is from the editing app that I'm using - the VLLO app. Enjoy Batad! 😊
Good day! Bagay na bagay po yung choice of BG music in your videos! Ask ko lang po, if early morning ang arrival in Banaue, mga magkano po ang transpo (for solo traveler) if will hire tricycle going to Batad? I understand the jeepney's availability is in the afternoon pa. Just worried baka abutan ako ng dilim going to my homestay hehe..hope you can notice this. Thanks!
Hi, Vince! Thanks! I haven't asked this with the locals but as far as I have researched before, the tricycle fare going to Batad would cost around 400 pesos. I guess if you're good with negotiation, you may haggle the tricycle fare. 😊 Just be careful lang kase may mga tour guides ( even in the tourism office) that will offer you a tour for a very expensive price ( 2,500-3,000). Don't be ripped off. Hope this helps 😊
@@lulinghayawnijuan Thanks for the tips!
halo! going to batad tomorrow😅 asking kung pano mo nanavigate yung mga spots kahit walang tourist guide like the falls and viewpoint. Did you ask directions lang ba sa mga locals? tysm❤
Hi, Ezra! Honestly, Batad is not hard to navigate since it's just a small village 😅 Going to the viewpoint, you just need to follow the most paved pathways and of course if you get lost, just ask the locals po. They're very kind and accommodating 😊 For the falls, there's only one way to go there. It's located at the back of the big blue house in Batad. The blue house is very noticeable 😊
Good luck on your trip tomorrow, Ezra! Safe trip! 😊
@@lulinghayawnijuan AHHHHHH!!! Tysm for the response. excited na tuloy ako🤍🤍🤍
Same po tayo ng iniisip. Itatanong ko din sana. I'll be going this November and planning not to hire a guide din sana. :)
I've been watching your videos. Gagawin ko tong guide kapag pumunta ako Sagada at Banaue. Do you happen to know if my transpo from Banaue to Baguio?
Hi, Deneeze! Yes po. You can ride an Ohayami Bus from Banaue to Baguio. I saw it at Banaue terminal when I was on my way home. I suggest that you book your tickets online to make sure you have an assigned seat. You may check it here: 😊
ohayami.ohayami.ph/domain?date=2023-02-28&origin=Banaue&destination=Baguio#seat-anchor-0
Hi, Deneeze! There's no signal in Batad which is good if you are looking for a place to relax without distraction 😁 Pero if you need an internet connection, they sell "piso wifi". I think it's 10 pesos for an hour? I haven't tried it because I don't want any online disturbance during my stay there but yung kasama ko sa accommodation bought one.
When you're in Banaue naman, mobile data is working but it's not as fast as expected. Anna, whom I met in Batad, decided to leave Banaue sooner and went to Sagada because of the internet since she's working and needed a fast internet connection hehe.
Hope this helps 😊
@@lulinghayawnijuan Big help po ito. Thank you sa info. Looking forward to more of your videos.
Thanks, Deneeze! 😊
Which months are better to visit the place? Also where can I get the tourguide that charges 1k?
Hi, Magnolia Lim! Personally, I haven't been to Batad during different times of the year but I think the best time to go to Batad is during summer ( Apri-May). It's the time when the rice terraces are greenest and the weather is not rainy. If you want to see the rice terraces in its golden color, you may visit Batad during October - November.
For the tour guide, I didn't hire one during my visit but I'm sure a lot of locals will offer you to tour around the village. Just ask your accommodation. 😊
Hope this helps😊
@@lulinghayawnijuan ok and how many hours was the trek?
@@magnolialim315 if you're referring to Tappiyah Falls, going down would take around 20-mins and 25-mins going back depending on your pace 😊
@@magnolialim315 i think half a day would be enough for you to explore the whole village of Batad. It's quite a small village. 😊
Hi. It's me again 🙂. Possible ba to explore batad in 1 day? including tappiya falls? If kukuha ng tour guide what time usually magsstart yung tour and what time matatapos?
Hi, Deneeze! Apologies for the late revert :) Yes po. It's possible to explore Batad in just 1 day. Batad is just a small village hehe. If you opt to hire a guide, usually the tour starts at 8am or depending on your agreement with the guide. 😊 Actually, you can explore the village in just half a day. In my case, I started at 8am then had a 2-3 hour break to do painting, and still I finished at 3pm. 😊
@@lulinghayawnijuan Thank you very much sa walang sawang pagsagot ng mga tanong ko 😂. Very helpful ito. I will be there this March 3rd week. Thank you very much.
Glad to help, Deneeze! Enjoy your trip! 😊
@@lulinghayawnijuan Hindi ba ako maliligaw if I explore the village myself? Mahal ng tour. 1500 daw daytour highest viewpoint, tappiya waterfalls, batad main village. Pede ba maexplore ang village kahit first timer?
Hi, Deneeze! 1,500 is very expensive! It's just a small village, like super small. 😅 I'm a first-timer myself when I visited there. Just follow the paved path and you will not get lost hehe or when you're lost in any chance, just ask some locals po in the area hehe
can it be done without any tour guide? Ang mahal ng tour guide now 1200 and one person lang ako
Yes! I didn't hire a guide either when I went there 😁 Batad is just a small village and very easy to navigate. 🙂
@@lulinghayawnijuan From Banaue Bus terminal, what did you ride?
I am planning to stay at Ramon’s Guesthouse, and he said that he can arrange a tricycle, which will cost 1600 (round trip).
Do you think the price is just right? or there is other cheaper alternative way to go there?
Hi, @@dawnbugay7094 ! You may ride a public jeepney located at the back of the tourism office of Banaue. The one-way fare is only 200. Just note that there's only one trip per day which usually departs from Banaue around 2-4pm. You may watch the EP3 of this series for more details 🙂
