Great info man. It's been good hearing you on Bite Me the past few weeks. I always know it's going to be an entertaining episode when I see your name on it, and that's what I appreciates about you.
Man! Great breakdown of the effects normal storms have on the bays. Thanks for the insight. That being said, Harvey was a different beast. What did you see in terms of the fishing you do after that storm blew through. Harvey literally sat on top of us for 3 days. Not looking forward to that happening again!
Great video captain . I’ve talked to some of the old salts around Sabine and they have said some of the best years for big trout fishing have been after hurricanes due to the surge pushing the super saline water into the bay. Hopefully if it does happen to hit us that it will bring a lot of big trout into the bay and help our bay system become what it used to be .
Completely agree. The 2020 season was so great for me partly because small storm surges from the hurricanes that hit lake Charles brought some extra salt into Sabine. They also open up cuts that are clogged or sedimented in.
It's too bad I can NEVER catch fish during bull tides 🤣🤣. Speaking of the San Bernard, it's being dredged out right now. Should be done soon. I'm hoping that area is going to have even better fishing in the years to come.
Was wondering. Can you put a polarized lens on your camera so we can see what your seeing? I know it has nothing to do with this episode. But what ever....
I needed to hear this today thx capt Caleb! love some positive thoughts
Thanks for the positive message!
Great explanation of the pros and cons of the effects from a hurricane on fishing. Mother nature has a strange way of taking care of herself.
Great video man! Like the multiple angles.
Me and a buddy were just talking about this...going out Saturday
Well said Capt.
Great video thanks for sharing
Great to hear!
Really appreciate the optimism. Glad to see you making videos again.
Awesome info. I never really focused on the positive aspects of hurricanes before. Thanks Capt!
I know last year we fished in some storms tournament day. Let me tell you I loveeeeee the bad weather.

Harvey messed a lot of marsh up for a long time. That one isn’t welcome back!
Like the rest of the Gulf Coast It's a way of life here in Florida; a lot of times it can flush out the red tides.
Glad to see some new vids

Baseball cleats for the win.👍
Hurricanes are good biz for me! More biz means more money. More money means more tackle... which will guarantee I catch a redfish..... Right?

It does have a polarized lens. It just doesn’t work quite as good as glasses do.
Its charlie i met u at Galveston expo i have a ? why when it get hot like now the trout are out of the bay and going crazy at the surf
Water is cooler and when we catch them in the surf it’s usually the perfect storm of bait and currents.
Mother Nature at work.
Somebody got fancy
