Dan Vasc's voice is so beautiful and unique. He just power up any song he covers like nobody else can do. That's an amazing performance . Pure epicness. Thanks for another great reaction to Dan.
Dan is spectacular here as always! First Italian, then German, Portuguese and finished in English. All languages that his most ardent fans speak. He has such a beautiful voice, he did this song justice! Thank you!
This is such a spectacular rendition!! He amazes me every time. Dan typically does his own harmonization and back up vocals. Brazil’s native language is Brazilian Portuguese. Like you, Dan is very fluent in English which I really appreciate. Thank you, L-T!
I'm at the point in the reaction where you're asking about the backup choir. Others will probably have already answered that question, but just in case... Dan himself did the full backup choir of 60, which starts with the Brazilian Portuguese version, and then continues into the "aaahhs" that are brilliantly harmonizing with the English version. Each "person" singing a part in that 60-voice choir is DAN. He sings WAY up into a coloratura range (where I USED to be able to go before Rheumatoid Arthritis hit me very hard, and where I'm WORKING ON getting back to, after having both hips replaced in 2017...I'm almost there. I can sing into a first soprano range, but just not as high as I want to get, yet...watching Dan sing has been helping me a LOT since April 9, 2023). Dan also can sing a long way down into the bass range (which I never lost, and yes, it's true bass, and I can hit and sustain Tim Foust's lowest note on record -- A0). SO...Dan can EASILY do a 60-voice choir. He has told us that when he records his "other Dans" who sing with him, plus when he records "his own" part, he sings each part at least four times, then decides which track is the best one, and that's the one he uses in his actual video. These days, most of the time he also does his own mixing, and most (not all) of the mastering, as well. He can also play keys, and at least some guitar. Mostly, though, if he doesn't use Victor, or his own brother Davi (guitars) and/or their friend Gabriel (guitars) and their friend Giovanni (drums) (all of whom make up their Fearless band), then he will use MIDI files. NOTE: Others have said that it's a 64-voice choir. Dan was doing one of his gaming group recordings when that was heard. I THINK that people just THOUGHT that he said 64 voices, because he usually explains the part about doing EACH PART 4 TIMES. He PROBABLY said that he did 60 parts four times (which would mean 240 recordings, which boggles the mind...and people wonder why it takes so much time between videos, sometimes). At any rate, MOST people who heard that conversation, have said that it's a 60-voice choir. I TOTALLY agree about the power of music in general. I cannot live without music. It has been my LIFE, since I was tiny. Being without my singing voice (except for bass) for about 15 years, was one the VERY hardest thing I've ever done. I also totally agree about why Dan's music is SO enthralling. Great reaction, overall, and GREAT explanations. Thank you very much! 😀THANK YOU!
❤❤❤❤❤ Oh Yeah.... Dan is spectacular... what a voice... he touches your heart and soul... he puts so much passion into his music.... Thank you for the reaction. His native language is Brazilian Portuguese
Dan loves to sing. The chorus is all him in different tracks. He is so passionate and powerful! Brazilian Portuguese is his native language. Your reaction to this amazing artist was perfect!❤
Thank you for your reaction!❤ I haven't seen your reaction to Dan's new cover of O Holy Night, if you haven't seen it or heard it yet, you really need to😮. It's epic! Again, thank you for your reaction😊
All of the vocals are his in every song unless someone else is present in the video. He recorded 64 tracks of his voice to make the choir. Yes, his native language is Portuguese. He has years of classical training to develop his vocal skills. He is incredible. Check out his Nessun Dorma, Music of the Night, Bring Me to Life, I'll Make a Man Out of You, and so many more. Loved your spot on reaction and looking forward to many more.
Thanks for your reaction. Everything Dan does is spectacular! My favourite Dan Christmas song is “Adeste Fideles”. The joy just jumps off the screen in that one! “O Holy Night”. is epic as well, but you already saw that one.
Dan consistently brings out the best rendition I have ever heard when he covers a song. He knows what sounds best, and with his strong and beautiful voice, he does it all so incredibly well. Please try his Iron Maiden cover, "The Number of the Beast" or "Heaven is a Place on Earth". Don't miss "Burn Butcher Burn" ! Thank you for giving Dan a thought!
Love your wonderful reaction to my favorite of Dan’s Christmas songs. So joyous and gorgeous. As others have said, the “choir” behind him is all him. You might enjoy his Hallelujah Chorus, where he sings all four parts. Amazing. He is a phenomenal singer and performer. Thanks so much. Happy New Year!
Yes! Dan calls that one his "venture into insanity," which made me wonder what he called the 60-voice choir! 😀 Of course, he has MUCH better equipment to work with, these days, than when he was still in the fairly early days of the channel, when he did the Hallelujah Chorus.
Your genuine appreciation for this song & your obvious love of the way Dan empowered this song was as frickin beautiful as your comments and Dan's vocals. Truly beautiful.
Agree with everything you said about Dan. So glad you enjoyed it. I see that others have answered your questions😉 Dan also sings a beautiful Spanish song "Cancion Del Pirata". He even sings a sing in Japanese😃 So glad that you're enjoying Dan's work, thankyou for your reaction.
I really enjoyed watching/listening to your thoughts and comments. Dan’s native tongue is Brazilian Portuguese. There were no females in the background vocals. That was 60 stacked vocal tracks and Dan sung every one of them. Dan can do soprano if he wants to. To see this for yourself check out Dan’s “Hallelujah” from Handel’s Messiah. It’s one of his older videos so you’ll have to ignore the nasty orange foam background but the sound is amazing. I think I heard he did 270 takes to get it just right. Insane! There’s 24 Dans on the screen all at once because he’s a one man choir. He does each person’s part, even the high soprano parts usually only done by ladies who naturally sing very high. I’ve watched reactions to this done by people who have been in choirs that sung this song and one guy who was the leader of the choir (conductor?) All of them were in awe. Dan did an excellent job. It’s fun to watch too, because Dan does quirky things like check his watch while singing a long note or wiggle his eyebrows etc. You may have to watch several times to see all the funny things. Enjoy!
You said it perfectly why so many people are drawn to Dan Vasc's music, he feels the song/ music and conveys it outward to those hearing and or watching it. His powerful rich vocals take a nice song and make it BETTER! Thank you for your great reaction to Dan Vasc doing Dan Vasc things to music 🎶 ❤
Using the 2 lights behind him are reminiscent of angel wings to me. Dan almost seemed to embody an angel on high proclaiming the joyful news of the birth of the Savior. Dan's expressions and gestures were so powerful they helped us visualize the magnificent sights, sounds, and message of that proclamation sent from God. All his vocals were stunning and soul stirring. What breath control and power he's demonstrated here. Gloria indeed!
Thank you for another good reaction. Fantastic Dan! He has said many times his music is about POWER. He encourages watching positive songs verses. Yes, he speaks Brazilian/ Portuguese, his first/home language.
Thanks for the nice response to Dan Vasc. His interpretations of Gethsemane Jesus Christ Superstar and Nessun Dorma are outstanding. And the recently released Christmas song “O Holy Night”. But basically all the songs are fantastic ❤️🤘
I could visit your channel JUST to absorb and enjoy your articulate and lovely commentary on Dan Vasc alone. It just flows from you in the most appealing and unique way. 😊. I adore how Dan commands his covers of traditional christian/christmas songs/carols to BE majestic! He is just so massively creative and brings such passion into everything he does. This was a truly enjoyable reaction, thank you! ❤
He dropped O Holy Night before Christmas with Victor the Guitar Nerd. His metallizing at all the right places. It’s like a holy war anthem. The more you listen the more empowered you feel!! Do yourself a favor and just listen to it don’t worry about a reaction!
Yes, Brazilian Portuguese, to be specific, is the other language and is Dan's first language. His Dad was Italian so that's likely where he learned the Italian. He later learned English. Not sure about any connection to the German language, but he nailed it rt down to the change in posture. Lol. 4 languages plus the chorus in Latin. It's phenomenal. If you love this, go listen to Dan's Adeste Fideles, which is O Come All Ye Faithful in Latin.. and OMG that finale!
Hello again Lieben ! Great reaction to another great cover by Dan!! I am a bit confused as to why you haven't done his latest release of O Holy Night or did I miss it??? Anyway, please continue with Dan all throughoutt the New Year and you will never be disappointed!! Have a very Blessed New Year! 🤗
Hi Thanks for reaction - Please react to Dan Vasc Elvis Trilogy. I saw on comments that his dad loved Elvis, also he did the trilogy just after hid Dad sadly passed. The last song he sings is so sad as he was so emotional.
A great reaction to a great singer and artist. Dan can sing everything, from Metal to Opera, (Nessun Dorma ) and all between ! Dan with his incredible voice is amazing ! 😊
Opera meets metal. I heard him on a stream saying that the background singing is 60 takes of himself singing. Love your reaction. Thanks. Happy New Year. 🎉
Check out everything, his "Gethsemane" is unbelievable he can do everything, he is so amazing and talented, every time a joy to see and hear his dedication and emotion when singing! ❤
Thank you for playing this and your comments ♥️

Dan's love to the music is so wonderful. Thank you for your reaction.
Love how the lights behind him echo the look of angel wings. With that voice, he could easily be one!
This is such a spectacular rendition!! He amazes me every time. Dan typically does his own harmonization and back up vocals. Brazil’s native language is Brazilian Portuguese. Like you, Dan is very fluent in English which I really appreciate. Thank you, L-T!

I love his version of Cancion del Pirata. Pulled up the original and Dan's is, as usual, better than the original.
I really enjoyed watching/listening to your thoughts and comments. Dan’s native tongue is Brazilian Portuguese.
