Iconic Cherubikon in Varys (1770, solfège)

Composed by Petros Lampadarios, paisian exegesis. Sung at first sight today, didactic illustration. Drone can be placed on Si (Zo), throughout, except perfect cadences on Re (Pa). (names of notes in Greek or Latin is meaningless and either set simply designates the structural placement within the Tone, not a fixed frequency as starting point). Comparing this with the Cherubikon in Legetos by Iosif sight-read yesterday, although the main tetrachord is identical, formulaic content is all the difference. Including the previous post, in Tone II, all three compositions are meant for daily regular Liturgy; deciding the interpretation of neumes analogous to iconographic approach in the general mystagogic design.
