These enduring Austrians that live in the the Mountains of the Austria and have kept up the Traditions of their For Fathers are a special people. Farming in the 40s and 50s was difficult no matter what country one lived in. Austrians who farm the high Mountain Valleys and Mt. Hill sides work harder and longer to get the same Job done and have my highest respect. The Narrator did an excellent job taken the viewers back when life was much less complicated. Difficult, yes but that life style produced a people with a tremendous Work Ethic. Wonderful that this farm life is preserved on film for current generations can see how people lived 65 years ago.
