Ever since you said We would be doing the sentencing ourselves for the next few eps, I KNEW this one was gonna be crazy lol! 😅 I’m VERY curious to hear how you would sentence everyone involved in the events in this episode, Especially considering it was mainly (tho not entirely) the company itself at fault for the EXTREMELY HIGH body count here and I’m not actually entirely sure what laws/regulations the US/Military have for these kinds of scenarios? I’d also imagine you would sentence the actual Unsub vs. The company who hired him VERY differently here so I’m curious to hear how you would’ve done it? Thx for the great reactions as always!! 😊
I dont have enough info about the school bombing. I would sentence 150 years for drone operator. Tori and The peakstone leader gets sentenced to Guantanamo bay and we get info on what transpired in the Afghan people that lead to 372 people being killed. They will then be sent to Afghan where they decide their fate since that bombing is outside US territory.
Company guy will get 25 and 15 years for killing the drone operator and attempted murder of the lady. For the negligence and hiding the truth he will probably get 50 years because there might be some government legal corporate and military thing that I don't know anything about. The weapons used not sure if they are legal so that might add years to the sentence of the actual drone operator so he would get life if he wasn't killed. The lady gets one count of murder ( 25 years) then some extra years for all the company killing of the school kids. I am not sure if they would get extradited to Afghanistan but if they do they will both get hanged.
ok so 7 counts of murder and one kidnapping for the one guy. that's lets say 140 years plus 5 years. whoever gave the orders to the guy to bomb that school, error or not, gets the 372 counts of murder, of children, so lets say 11,160 years for that person...no option of parol obviously. the head of that operation and of the company and anyone else who was covering that up should be charged with conspiracy or something, lets say at least 30 years each. and the person who sent the drone and killed the guy and attempted the murder of the woman gets 20 plus 15, so 35 with no early parol. that's on top of the conspiracy 30.
It was difficult to make a decision, but ultimately, if the unsub was in acting in a time of war, than it would classify the deaths of the children as collateral damage in a time of war (I know how awful this sounds, but hear me out: The deaths of the kids was a direct byproduct of faulty intel from Peakstone, which led to the unsub to bomb the school, believing it to a camp for active enemies of the country. I don't have any expertise in military laws, but IMHO, the people who deserve to held responsible for deaths are Peakstone, and ONLY Peakstone, as their negligence/incompetence led to an unneeded military strike resulting in the deaths of innocents and then actively covered it up; soldiers who act on the orders of their bosses and are legitimately in the dark about the truth should not be blamed for simply following orders, it is the person who gave the orders who deserves to be held accountable for the tragedy.) That being said, the charges against the unsub are left at 7 counts of murder, 1 count of kidnapping, potential stalking, property damage, as well as a whole slew of weapons charges. However, considering he was clearly suffering from extreme PTSD that Peakstone left untreated, I would sentence him to life imprisonment in a secure psychiatric facility properly equipped to handle traumatized veterans. I would keep under constant supervision, on a suicide watch, and see if he would agree to testify against Peakstone. I would make sure he couldn't hurt anyone ever again, but also received proper treatment.
Tori & her supers would def get d*ath penalty for what they did, they knowingly allowed a man to bomb an elementary school, & lied to him telling him it was an insurgent camp. & the unsub, would get, life, with a chance of parole
Idk but they need to lock the people up from that company for a minimum of like 200 years and that company needs to be shutdown or at the very least forever forbidden from serving the American government
This one was pretty intriguing. Heart breaking, but the twists were good.

This episode is very relevant in 2024.
When Emily said wheels up in 10 I was like I know Logan won’t get that one right 😂

I never noticed until now, but Tori knew they were hacking the drone. She looks at the lights blinking on the drone.
