I’m still using my M1 iPad Pro 11 inch Apple needs to make iPad OS more like the Mac but they are scared to cannibalize max sales. I was going to trade in but I held back. Especially with the fact that they’re practically forcing users to upgrade everything. All previous accessories are obsolete and that alone is a bad move. It shows they don’t care about their customer base.
I have an M1 iPad Pro 11in. I’m wanting to upgrade for the oled display because I watch Apple TV+. I’m going to wait for WWDC first to see what software they bring. That will help me with what storage size to get for iPad Pro.
Totally agree. Everything is really great, except the things that aren't seem baffling. I don't understand why photos taken on a a 'top-tier' device that's two years newer than my iPhone Max Pro 14 should have a drop in quality. I don't primarily use it for photo-taking, but I'd like to think it isn't worse. The same or better I would understand. Worse? (and yes, it's worse).
Hey Ben, can you please let me know from someone that is using it. I've been reading on Apple forums and Reddit that the M4 Oled has Mura Effect. A grainy appearance on Grey colours at around 25% brightness... is this true? Can you see a Grainy appearance?
@b3naqua is it something that is clearly visible in usage? Or is it so negligible that you have to be particular / looking for it. I read you can only notice it, when in a darker room / dark modes at lower brightness on grey colours.. It seems like you have to be fairly specific and looking for it. Is this more that case, It has to be looked for? Or is it a true annoyance and makes you regret buying? I've ready that iPhone 15s and Samsung 24s have this effect on their Oleds, too. This is leading me to believe this is a "normal" drawback. Just like the miniLED had blooming.
@@b3naqua I use a desktop at home, and a macbook pro elsewhere, so whats the use of a tablet then?? I had one, used it for a day and then it stayed in the drawer, then i sold it....

Have the M4 11 and love it. Came from the M2 11. Screen, FT camera position and new MKB won the day for me.
It’s really nice actually it’s the best iPad right now

Smart to wait!
3:27 they need to put the same cameras from the iPhone 15 pro on the iPads to better convey the pro feel

👽 This is my first upgrade since the 2018 11” Pro as well and I love it!
ooh congrats on your new iPad!

@@brendanwanderer yeah the cameras are kinda tragic lol 😭 and they kinda make the device seem less “pro”
Hey, do you have a grainy display when looking at grey in 25% brightness such as in settings app in dark mode?
Whoa, yes I am seeing some graininess if I look rly closely. Haven’t seen it until your comment. 🧐 Are you noticing that too?
@@b3naqua Exactly! You're the first RUclipsr to cover it. Thank you!
@@kartikeyadhh you’re welcome! Thanks for making me aware of it!
I agree that it is way overpowered for its use case. Also, seems like you would have settled for a tiny bit thicker for more battery. 🥰👾👽
Yeah totally - wouldn't mind a little extra weight & thickness for better battery life 👏🏼
What is the use case for an iPad? If you have smartphone, laptop, and desktop Mac or PC, what's the iPad for?

Yes, I’ve noticed this on mine 😭 I think I’ll make a video on it

Last year's iPad is 98% as good as the new iPad. That's the problem.
👽 I think I’m going to switch to the 11inch from the 13.
@@iron_recluse The screen is 40 percent larger on the 13. You might not like the tiny iPad 11.
even the 2018 pro is like 85% as good as the 2024
There was no iPad last year/
@@tennissir1986 My friend bought an iPad *last* *year* . You are mistaken.
Looks awesome!
The display is so niceeeee
Looks like you bought the wrong product for your needs Hopefully you took it back

most useless piece of tech ever created, a tablet.....

@@billx4266 iPad has no keyboard or mouse. So you can't use serious productivity software, and games are terrible on a tablet.
