This is my favorite Beastie interview, despite the fact that this kid is so nervous, he can't even speak correctly. They have such a perfect synergy; it's impossible to imitate. (And I love how Yauch sings a line from Crazy Ass Shit) :D
These guys, gentlemen, dudes, men, are great. True Americanism. Incredible humor. There will never be another group like them. In a way they remind me of Frank, Dean, and Sammy. God speed to MCA, Mike D., and AD Rock.

Ha Ha so many interviewers get star struck by these dudes when they're always so down to earth and funny. that kid's so awkward, he just kept stumbling over himself with embarrassing flattery that just came across annoying. Poor Guy. They were kind to spend 20 minutes with him and this poor production.

MCA had been clean (no drugs, no drinking) for close to 20 years before his death. Adrock has epilepsy, so it's not likely he'd be on any hard drugs. Mike D does admit to being an up-and-comer in the wine game, but he's not an alcoholic. WTF is wrong with you?
This is actually extremely uncomfortable. There are power dynamics in the room but it's actually not that subversive,. It feels like a competition. I love these guys. But I would have hated to be this interviewer,. It evened out as it went on.
@siamesepuppy Well, in their defense, Mike D was dead serious at the end when he called the guy a savage. And no offense, but he was. The guy was a horrible interviewer. Which is WHY they were fucking with him. The guy asked the same question like 47 times and never in reference to any decent ground braking song, The guy knew very little if anything about the Beasties and really did do a savage job of interviewing them. I would have gone out of my way to make the guy feel like a douche too...lol
