- This chemistry video tutorial explains the concept of physical and chemical properties of matter. Examples of physical properties include density, boiling point, viscosity, mass, weight, solubility, ductility, and malleability. Examples of chemical properties include reactivity, acidity, flammability, and more.

Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, the step-by-step analysis and breakdown of Physical and Chemical Properties in AP/General Chemistry is off the learning charts. Chemical and Physical Properties occur every day on planet earth. This is an error free video/lecture on RUclips TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
Read your bible! (KJV, preferably) ♥ .
It'd be such a privilege to be this man's teacher like bruh
If I may ask.. how are you able to retain so much info from mathematics to chem and more? I've been getting A's from elementary algebra to college algebra with the help of your videos but this chem is entirely different... Many thanks
A lot of this stuff is just basic chemistry and he is also probably reading notes while he made this.
@@hyperboar5237 but it's still his notes... You can't teach what you don't know.....
So would a physical property *always* be reversible and a chemical property not reversible?
@@rachelfaith3578 thanks for that
why are you watching this? I’m in 6th grade and your in university
Idk why when I'm in class, I don't understand the lesson but when I watch youtube videos I get it completely. (Well, specifically with this channel) probably 'cause I get distracted when the teacher interacts alot with the students so I kinda lose track of the lesson
my go-to whenever I need to know anything about chemistry

I think taste is a physical property. While it is true that if something tastes sour, it is acidic, which gives us an idea of what type of substance it is. But it doesn’t describe its chemical behavior immediately. I mean taste, in the previous example, tells us this is an acid but we have to figure out how an acid behaves to know its chemical behavior. The same argument applies to pooling points. If a substance’s boiling point is very low it is likely to be organic (like a hydrocarbon), but it doesn’t tell us what the chemical properties are.
yes i saw this too

thank you so much for making me comprehend between physical and chemical changes. it helped me a lot
thank you somuch
your helping a lot of people im sharing this to my friends
Now I must ask, because according to numerous sources I've read taste is a physical property. Can you explain this? I think as I understand it, it's because the physical property a compound may have is sensed by the taste receptors and sends a signal to the brain. In this whole process no products are made, nor bonds broken thus no reaction takes place. Can you explain why you put taste in the chemical category? Heres just one source which says taste is a physical property.
I know this is a while ago but my chemistry teacher also said taste was a physical property. Interesting. I think he is wrong because it is an intensive property
I aced a very hard and complicated exam cos of your videos thank you so much 💗🙌
Read your bible! (KJV, preferably) ♥ .
u just taught me more than my teacher
Ik this was posted a year ago but this really helped me so thanks for posting this👏👏
You have a really soothing voice
Thank you so much for this clarity! I was having trouble on my homework. Keep up the great work!
I’m 14 and watching this wth is happening
same
I'm confused if solubility a physic of chemical property
Man gen Z are so lucky, when I went to school I did not have youtube to look for great help, back in my days you asked your parents, but my parents did not know anything at all because they didnt go to school.
Anyways, thanks for your time to make so many videos for the public.
Thank you for the video!
Physcial property is a characteristic of material that can be observed without changing the materiald composition. it is usually observed using the senses, like size, shape, and smell. it also often involve measurements, like density, volume and mass.
Chemical property is a characteristic of material that is observable when material changes into a new substances with different properties. this change is brought about by materials reaction with heat, air, and other substances fot example: paper is *flammable* meaning it catches fire easily. when it burns it becomes an entirely different material.
So, Physical changes appearance, not Substance. Chemical changes Substance all together?
@@blushblossom with different properties also ;)
Thank you sir you really helped me a lot plus tomorrow we are writing ♥️🤝
thank you so much man. u the GOAT when it comes to teaching math, science, etc.
Thank you a lot!
If I knew where this guy is a professor I would transfer there.
Hey, thanks for helping us, but i have a Question. Does taste is physical or chemical property? It's physical but you said it's chemical property. Why??
Is odor intensive or extensive?
How about gravitational pull? Is it intensive or extensive?
I have a qustion.Would a physical and chemical propertie be the same as a physical or chemical change?
I mean yes
Thanks
thnaks !!
this help me a lot thank you
YOU are the best man u save me every time
Thank you 🙏. This is so helpful!
Damm bro, u be teaching me math, and science, who are u

have you ever heard of grammar
@@ludophobi4986 Excuse me? I did like to point something out. He may be younger than you or maybe his first language wasn't English and might be in a different country. Please stop criticizing people just because of their grammar in general. Please watch your words before replying, commenting, etc.
Color could be also chemical, like anodized metal, and tool-blackening, which is some form of corrosion or oxidation of the surface of the metal. But I guess that would be color changing classification.
