Even though his stats are pretty mid-tier this year, I'm surprised anyone is shocked at all. There are only 2 QBs Mahomes doesn't like playing in big games. One is stuck on an awful team and the other retired. This is what Montana and Brady did when they were the only tier 1 guys (not stats, just talking about ability to win games) in the league - they were unstoppable.
Kansas City Chiefs aren’t explosive team, but they make the money on 3rd down money down team average is 52%. While the league average is just 39% let that sink in. If you can move the ball you go win a lot of games
The Chiefs win because the figured out that you just have to have more points than your opponent to win. You don't have to to run up the score. You don't have to be picture perfect. Just be the one head when the time goes to 0:00.
As excellent as Josh Allen was, for me, this game was why he shouldn't be the QB MVP favorite over Lamar Jackson. In a game where he had over 400 total yards, 6 total TDs, and zero turnovers he still lags Lamar Jackson in every meaningful statistical category except for Total TDs where he just caught up. He's having some really impressive moments but Lamar has been solid all season long. Yes Lamar has had some less than impressive games but the losses aren't on him. The kicker does his job and there's at least two more wins on the board. Josh has 5 games this season where he accounted for 5 TDs and 3 INTs, 3 of which he had less than 200 total yards (including rushing). Is that impressive? Don't get me wrong, Josh is fantastic but the few moments he's had shouldn't outweigh being worse in every statistical category for the MVP. They say Josh has to do everything but that's not true. He doesn't have to play defense. Lamar, it seems, does. He needs to kick too. Because if he isn't putting up absurd points they don't win because the other 2 phases of the Ravens team is awful.
I didn’t want to hear that all season but the kickoff going out of bounds then the doink going in lol.. Andy Reid definitely doing the same dark art that BB was doing for years

Among all the stalled drives for the Chiefs this season, most of them can be attributed to terrible tackle play on the o-line. Go back and watch the isolation videos. Several of these games would be Chiefs dominating if those drives didn't stall because the LT or RT are an open gate. Please go look at the film of these two positions and see how many drives were ended because of them.
Rex logic: it’s okay for Eagles to go back and forth at home with a Panthers team the Chiefs never trailed. It’s okay for Detroit to give up 30 points and need to go for it on 4th down to win at the gun against a division rival. It’s okay for Buffalo to give up 44 points and lose. But it is NOT okay for the Chiefs to win at the gun against the league’s best defense who is also a division rival.

Funny how they laud Allen for his running prowess. He literally has passed OJ Simpson and Terrell Davis for rushing TD'S, but yet Jalen Hurts is regularly criticized for his running prowess and rushing TD'S.🙄 Make it make sense.🙄😒🤔
No one will talk about it because it's in the past but I say it to my Father and friends all of the time. I remember in the moment being furious. The Giants had a chance to Draft Josh Allen to take over after Eli. They took Saquon. How did that work out for the Giants? Entire Giants front office has me considering my fandom. Sickening.
Lamar Jackson is on pace to end up top-10 ALL TIME in the following categories. Note - most of these are passing-only, for the guy that's the best runner in all of football (Saquon has an argument against this, but that's it): 1. TD-Int: On pace to have the BEST EVER passing td-int ratio for anyone over 30 TD's 2. Total Rush + Pass Yards (on 200+ LESS pass attempts than the other QBs on this list. Note - Mahomes in 2022, at 5,608 on 648 pass attempts. Lamar is on pace for 5,188 on 495 attempts. Do the math.) 3. ^ Rush + Pass Yards Per Game (for those that want to argue 16 vs 17 games) 4. Passer Rating (on pace to be 8th ALL TIME) 5. Adjusted yards per pass attempt (10th) 6. Adjusted net yards per pass attempt (4th) 7. Interception % (10th) Baltimore has lost 5 games. All five games, at least one missed kick occurred. Baltimore has the 31st ranked pass defense in the league, 31st ranked special team in terms of kicking, 32nd in terms of penalties (you watch the games, this is NOT on Lamar). These are things Lamar's stats don't discuss. Of Lamar's three interceptions, one was actually a catch then fumble, NOT a pick. The other two were well-placed passes that weren't caught by the receivers. Legitimately playing about as clean as possible. Without Lamar, this team has three wins. With him, this team is 8-5 and had realistic chances to win every game. In nearly every game he's played in, he's been the best player on the field. I don't understand the Allen-over-Lamar narrative. NOBODY is discussing Lamar anymore??? What is going on? It's pretty clear, but this nonsense needs to stop. Put some context into these arguments. Allen IS having an MVP season. He's been really really good. Lamar's is just having a much, MUCH better MVP season. This should be another unanimous, if the voters are unbiased.

The refs were bad on both sides. If they wanted to give the Bills the game they could have by calling the OBVIOUS false start on the 4th and 5 at the end of the game, but they didn't. That alone nullifies your entire claim. Go touch grass.
@donkeybus losers complain about phantom non calls while benefitting from actual penalties. Ref interfernece happens from them actually making calls that effect the game instead of just letting them play. You not knowing the rules doesnt make a call bad either lol. It was not bad on both sides, just the one side - story of the Bills season this year, NFL doing everything possible to get Allen to actually win something.
Never seen so many people say this team is no good, yet continue to win. As herm edwards said, you play to win the game. #chiefskingdom
Dan was waiting all night to take that shot at Shannon😂
01:53 That doink was like a stake in my soul
The expression of Charger's players every time PM execute unusual plays, its like: "Oh man! What else can we do? this guy is unstoppable"
Joe Burrow to the Bills: “First time?” 😅
WIN BY 1,000 POINTS, or HALF a POINT !!! AS LONG AS U WIN and COME OUT WITH a "W"
What KC its doing this season is so hard to achieve, coming back from a back-to-back championships, should be overwhelming from a mental stand point, most of them already have three rings. No matter how they win, its just insane. Every team playing against them its like a playoff game. Hopefully they have the opportunity to rest some of their starters at the end of the season.
They will which is why anyone who thought they’d be undefeated is lying. Reid will rest them week 18
Even though his stats are pretty mid-tier this year, I'm surprised anyone is shocked at all. There are only 2 QBs Mahomes doesn't like playing in big games. One is stuck on an awful team and the other retired. This is what Montana and Brady did when they were the only tier 1 guys (not stats, just talking about ability to win games) in the league - they were unstoppable.
and that’s what Mahomes is. In a league of good to really good he is great. He learned from Tom
Kansas City Chiefs aren’t explosive team, but they make the money on 3rd down money down team average is 52%. While the league average is just 39% let that sink in. If you can move the ball you go win a lot of games
Mahomes is great in a league of really good
Media sure likes teams losing beautifully over winning ugly.
Just rename the AFC Playoff season the Kansas City Invitational.
And I'm getting REALLLLLY bored with it.
If you bet money against Mahomes at this point, you just straight up don't like money.
Chiefs black magic was in effect yesterday
I didn’t want to hear that all season but the kickoff going out of bounds then the doink going in lol.. Andy Reid definitely doing the same dark art that BB was doing for years
Seriously 74 could've been called for false start all game

The NFL script writers did a good job with this one. San Diego will make the playoffs this year.
Rex, your defense got you a job talking about the NFL rather than coaching it. You picked against the Chiefs ALL year and have consistently been proven wrong.
I know you need to have something to analyze but teams have won Super Bowls without going through the season blowing out teams in every game. The 49ers and Steelers of the 70’s are proof of this. Style points are not given in football.

@@mattcarberry368 The winning part, dufus.
@@mattcarberry368 tell me you're a sore loser without actually saying it. Do yourself and a favor and don't hold your breath. One of these years KC will miss the SB again, but it will only be for a year. After a while they're going to want to have a longer off-season than they've been afforded the past several years with Mahomes.
The chiefs are absolutely 12-1 because of Mahomes. Put Brock Purdy in his spot (who I think is a really good 2nd tier qb btw) and this team is 6-7 easily
I love Dan's reactions to Josh Allen's throws in the game. 🤣
1:55 *The Doink of Destiny* 😂
So cool to know that Allen and Mahomes are good friends. They are on another level. For Mahomes, no player can do what he does. Maybe not the best team but there’s no doubt he’s the best player. There will be a day when he isn’t, but dude is so clutch. To the rams, DANG that was a crazy catch from PN.
We are witnessing greatness
God is with you Chiefs
Mahomes not even playing like a top 10 quarterback this season. He’s been an elite game manager
Brady
Exactly. This isn’t a great stat line year for Mahomes. Heck I’m not sure he’ll get to 4,000 pass yards if he sits out week 18.
@@scruffd0g193who cares? He wants to win super bowls not regular season mvp’s like Josh Allen lmfao

QB’s that are game managers used to be a bad thing… now that Mahomes is… it’s a good one
Josh Allen is built different
Why no one give Matthew any love?
As a Bills fan I have to agree, Stafford played nearly perfect football. Inch perfect throws. One mistake and the Bills would have won. IT was fun to watch him I hope they can keep this momentum going and make the playoffs.
As a Matthew I also have to agree, no one gives us Matthews any love
yow know what, as obnoxious as Nick Wright can be for being a homer, i now am rooting for Nick to get the last laugh on Rex. i want Rex to keep that SAME energy! hahaha!
KC is like a boxer that does not have a great KNOCKOUT ability but teams can’t separate from them either cause they’re great at avoiding getting knocked out !! 6.8 point differential in the Mahomes era!! It’s going to be a 12 round slug fest and Mahomes/Reid will edge by you 95+ percent of the time.
Can’t believe someone in my league dropped Hopkins. Listen, I lost Rashid Shaheed, Chris Godwin and Stefon Diggs.
Was left with Courtland Sutton and Devonta Smith. So when I saw Hopkins…I knew God was real.
Also picked up Valdes-Scanlon and was able to finish the regular season at #1.
I'm surprised that ESPN hasn't made Chris Berman's catchphrases into soundbites yet, WOOP.
I'm convinced my Chiefs are holding a leprechaun hostage somewhere 😂
No way Rex Ryan is still riding Josh this much in a loss. The media does this every year it’s comical😂
I've noticed a pattern of our 3rd quarters being rough. We were up 13-0 with momentum. Then came out flat after half time.
lol at chiefs fans just making up stats to make Mahomes look good. He does not have the best 4th quarter stats. Before last night he had the 8th best 4th quarter passer rating, and last night he was average again. But sure all the chiefs fans upvote the Mahomes lies propping him up.
Since when has the NFL been about style points😂😂😂
Greeny said the Bills Rams game was the most exciting of the year. Both of those Ravens Bengals games were insane
12-1 with a 2 game lead in the AFC. Nothing else matters
and now today the MVP is Josh Allen. We a new MVP each and every week on Get Up 😂
I was skeptical at first, but the ALM tokenomics make so much sense. Alemio Network could be a game-changer for long-term investors.
Coach Andy's abbracadabbra still working
OK Guys, He does what it takes in the 4th quarter But IMO this Amazing String of Victories will END in the Playoffs or the Super Bowl! This Team is Not the Best Team in Football and this Lucky String of Wins will be their downfall in the END!
Chief knows how to will...championship mentality
The inability for defenders to open field tackle Mahomes drives me insane. It cost the chargers the game last night.
He’s shifty
@jasonmunoz7285 no doubt. When he makes a move i get that. Outruns a 300 lb + lineman got it. When it's terrible technique. By a DE, Safety or LB, Like Henley had on the play to Kelce. Yeah that's just terrible football. There's a lot shiftier players who are taken down each play.
"Lamar and Josh will make you look slow, but Patrick will make you look stupid."
The Chiefs are by far the luckiest 12 win team in the league.
Don't forget, "Back to Back SuperBowl Champs"....
FACTS but also they're also the Defending Champs
💍 💍 💍
Rex yo defense would get that work too!! 😂
The key move is to get in early, with Alemio Network you can do that
Funny how they laud Allen for his running prowess.
Sickening.

smth about the phrase "WAXES LYRICAL" in all caps like its a clickbait phrase is rly funny to me
It sounds really stupid. I know what it means though.
Chargers "found a way to score" 😂 its called playing for the foul in the 2nd half knowing the refs are going to throw BS for you. It was disgusting
Oh please that’s half of DHop’s routes. Please just stop talking
Lamar Jackson is on pace to end up top-10 ALL TIME in the following categories. Note - most of these are passing-only, for the guy that's the best runner in all of football (Saquon has an argument against this, but that's it):
1. TD-Int: On pace to have the BEST EVER passing td-int ratio for anyone over 30 TD's
2. Total Rush + Pass Yards (on 200+ LESS pass attempts than the other QBs on this list. Note - Mahomes in 2022, at 5,608 on 648 pass attempts. Lamar is on pace for 5,188 on 495 attempts. Do the math.)
3. ^ Rush + Pass Yards Per Game (for those that want to argue 16 vs 17 games)
4. Passer Rating (on pace to be 8th ALL TIME)
5. Adjusted yards per pass attempt (10th)
6. Adjusted net yards per pass attempt (4th)
7. Interception % (10th)
Baltimore has lost 5 games.
I think Josh allen is one of the greatest qbs i have ever seen that being said for me so is matthew stafford and stafford was also amazing in the game and made great throws also
Honestly im not even nervous anymore with these close games I have enough Faith now they'll manage to win lol.

Rex ryan is lobbying hard for that Bills HC job , if they don't win it all this year I don't see Mcdermott getting another chance.

Doink 4 da Division😂😂😂
This is why mvp has to be looking at plays and games not the stats, mahomes should be in the mvp conversation because he makes the plays down the stretch to win games. Sounds pretty valuable to me he’s done it week in and week out and I hate this team and cheer for them to lose but then 15 just shuts me up every time
Mvp means nothing. Pat has 3 rings and a chance to get his 4th. That’s what matters, they can keep mvp.
Why are these close wins not them being clutch
I dont understand why they arent talking more about McDermott taking a penalty when the Rams had it on 4th and 8. It changed everything. Rams got it at 4th and 5, and decided to go for it. Instead of that last Bills td being down by 9 instead of 6. Smh
Wrong. Josh Allen could run. We crushed the Seahawks for not giving Marshawn the ball so no passing plays
