Hanan ben Ari is an Israeli singer and performer, he is singing in Hebrew. The song is a prayer for his children, how time flies and his children are growing up. It's a prayer that we should be present to watch our children grow up, that they be happy and healthy and get along with each other. Really like your reaction!
During the speaking part: He blesses the crowd that their children won't hear another siren from a bomb falling and their children will be safe. And that we always love our children . Being that every person in that crowd has experienced war and running from falling bombs its an emotional blessing to give.
I was at this concert,.. this is chanan Ben Ari singing " amen on / for the children " I think he wrote this song right before or during COVID. It is his wife at the beginning of the song (with the headscarf). You are spot on that its his children on the screens behind him. He is singing about having children and the process he went through and about growing to appreciate them and the blessing. Please notice that this concert was in June 2021 when we were involved in the exercise of protective edge - thousands of rockets were falling on israel, our sons needed to go defend the country on the borders and within the towns. It was a time when COVID was finally under control here... we were allowed to attend outdoor concerts and then suddenly for 10 days all hell broke loose and Rockets were being shot all the way to Tel Aviv. At the end of the concert he is blessing the crowd, their children and the country. Basicly asking G-d for protection for all of us. the crying you see and the emotion in the crowd represents all of our emotions at the time. Again, thank you so much for your reviews. WE LoVE it !
Gosh it must’ve been amazing to see that live! I’ve been trying to get more into Israeli music and this definitely takes the cake. It’s so beautiful to see Klal Yisrael in all walks of life sing along with so much Achdut, not caring about each others level of observance or background. This is exactly what we need on a regular basis, it’s so beautiful❤
"Praying for the Kids of Mine" How time flies, hard to grasp that I'm a father Waking up from childhood into the reality I live in [I] Remember being out of breath after three [kids] I said, "Wait," you said, "You'll see, they'll grow up a bit and you"ll understand." Suddenly they're six [kids], soon to be seven, and how amazing they are But the pressure intensified, built itself a tower The heart only has two rooms And the conscience's working even on Saturdays and holidays You've been the Mother of the Year for years [Yet] I'm still captive with fears that...
I won't make it [in time], To arrive To guard, To save, To rescue To take the bullet for them Oh, how vulnerable is the heart
I pray that the kids of mine Won't inherit my scars\issues\blemishes That they'd embrace\strengthen each other Amen, shall they be healthy always
[I] want to be there for them just like I promised To sit at the end of the day, knowing I've succeeded Meanwhile [I'm] counting small victories, happy I didn't escape To the bathroom or the computer, I just stopped and listened To [their] stories about birds To the thoughts, to the drawings To the dreams they'll fulfill someday To the heroes, to the princesses With [their] silent eyes There's a sea of secrets if you truly listen I pray that my kids Won't inherit my scars\issues\blemishes That they'd embrace\strengthen each other Amen, shall they be healthy always
Amen Amen Amen! [Pray] upon the kids of mine Won't inherit my scars\issues\blemishes That they'd embrace\strengthen each other Amen, shall they be healthy always That they'd embrace each other Amen, shall they be healthy always
[I'm] standing, observing from [up on] the gallery Looking [out] from the sidelines, cheering on Even in the abyss, even in the Heaven [I'll be] leaving it all [and coming] to be there
Just embrace each other Amen, shall they be healthy always that's the song. He then bestows blessings on the crowd and they reply Amen: That our kids shall: always be healthy. always be happy, never hear the sound of a [bomb] siren... never know of war in their lifetime no one hurt\abuse them, their body or soul, not in class nor on the street always remember that we love\cherish them ...
אם ישראל חי! We have survived for the past 3 and 1/2 thousand years as a nation, and God Willing we will continue to do so for the next 5,000 with peace and prosperity in our ארץ הקודש for the rest of our days ❤
BTW the children that appear on the screens are not just his own. Prior to releasing it he'd asked fans to share videos of them with their kids and the videos they sent appear in the official clip. The beauty of it is (and it's something you can see in his concerts as well) that he'd recieved videos from many many people, young and old, religious and ultra religious as well as secular, people from all walks of life in every possible color. He is loved by many because he sings about life, about our struggles, and our triumphs. he inspires to think well and do well. he is compassionate and simply loaded with talent. Amazing lyrics (his son helps him write sometimes :) and catchy music. WOW
The translation of the speech he gave at the end is: Say Amen for our children (Amen) May they always be healthy (Amen) may they be happy always (amen) May they not hear one more alarm in their lives (Amen) May they never know another war in their lives (Amen) That no one will hurt them - not in body, not in soul, not in the classroom and not on the street May they always remember and always know that we love them. Even when we don't always show it and we don't have patience, we love them endlessly. There is no end. The translation of this hymn: Praying for my children, that they will not inherit my scratches (craziness), that they will hug each other. May they always be healthy.
Israeli Jews absolutely adore and love all their children, they know they are their future and they show their love outwardly. If you go on a bus with a baby and packages, strangers will offer to hold your baby, they smile when they see children, they will gave parenting advice to strangers, they feel like a family, They don't get annoyed with kids being kids.
Chorus, "I'm praying for my kids, They shouldn't inherit my scars, They should hug one another, Amen they should be healthy always." "amen amen amen" Beautiful words.
OMG you are the best RUclipsr I have ever seen, i like that even you don't know the words, you get the meaning perfectly. i am from Israel, and its so fun to watch you, Keep making these videos, its so original!!!

Hi I'm from Israel and my favorite singer is Hanan Ben Ari It is a song related to children and family and some of the pictures at the end are the pictures of his children 😘Thanks for the clip
The song talks about the fact that he wants to protect his children at all costs even though he has difficulties and falls, he prays for his children that they don't fall into what he fell into...
Love your reaction. & how spot on you are in guessing what this is about. This is all about being present through life’s moments as your children grow up & develop, as well as a prayer for their well being. ❤
Amen for my children So emotional for all parents, and special for israeli parents, who have so many reasons to worry even more, to their children sake
Wow! You're bang on! Just imagining if I was watching a song in Spanish! You literally just translate the title word for word from the vibes you get! Love this
Nowadays music is f'd satanic and not good in general its always good to see popular singers singing to God and praying for kids and the future God bless the Holy Jewish land 🇮🇱 🫡
It's interesting to see how close your were most of the time to the real meaning, Which kinda shines a light to the brilliant songwriting and beautiful performance showing the emotion.
Sadly, this beautiful song about fatherhood and the concerns that our children not inherit our scars and wounds and the worries about how to protect them, is ironic now, given the brutal and savage slaughter of Israeli youth at a Nature Trance in Israel and the young children and babies slaughtered. Thx for posting this. May the hostages be returned safely
This song is so beautiful and the live performance is just, wow. But the lyrics, God, the lyrics. A father's fear and prayer for his children, to stay strong and healthy and become everything that is better than he.
Hi I am from Israel. RUclips recommended this video to me. I immediately recognized the singer in the thumbnail image. So I clicked on this video. I know this singer. He is simply a singer with an exciting voice!! I love him very much. This song talks about hoping that the children will be protected and that they will never be harmed. May they hug each other, and may they be healthy. In addition to that, the security situation here in Israel was a bit dangerous. And there were children who died or were injured by missiles. So at the end he talks about "amen" that they will be healthy and amen that they will never harm their bodies and souls, from war and in the school and in anyplace. And that's why this song is so emotional. I was excited about him too. I really like this song. and listens to him a lot. im so love this reaction video, and If you would like recommendations for content from Israel or songs, I will be happy to send you links to songs or Israeli content :)) have a good day:)
Hey Tzachi! Thanks so much for the kind message. I'm glad you liked the video ☺️. In regards to Israeli singers, I would love some recommendations. I've listened to a few so far, but most reactions have been to non Israeli singers. Thanks again for your view, and taking the time to write your message.
@@PortuguesePai Yes, I was really excited to see a reaction praising Israeli art. And not all the anti-Semitism against Israel and against Jews. Regarding recommendations, I really recommend that you watch this song by Natan Goshen and Liran Danino: ruclips.net/video/dyJS-E5UfBk/видео.html And this song by his uncle Aharon and Eden Meiri: ruclips.net/video/BoH1OvaaXM4/видео.html And that of Eden Hasson and Abraham Tal: ruclips.net/video/dCRNngEyXbQ/видео.html I would really love to see your reactions these songs :)
three more I love by him are "Holem Kmo Yossef" (Dreaming like Joseph) and "Hananya" which is a tribute to his late grandfather after whom he was named (his grandfather was probably still alive when he got his name, it's an honor for a grandfather to have his grandson named after him) and "Makom" (place) which is a music video, not a performance, and shows him with his father who cuts his hair anuualy
There's a video posted with English translation word for word of this song by Shulem Deen. Highly recommend watching it and you'll understand exactly why everyone is feeling it so much. Loving your videos, thank you.
I pray for my children Don't let them inherit my scratches to hug each other) How time flies, it is not perceived that I am a father Summers from childhood to the reality I live in Remember how after three the air ran out I said wait, you told me look They will grow a little and you will understand Suddenly they are six, another moment seven And how amazing they are But the pressure grew, he built a tower The heart only has two chambers And the conscience also works on Saturdays and holidays You have been the mother of the year for years I am still a prisoner of fears that I won't be able to make it to save, to save, to save absorb a bullet instead Oh how vulnerable the heart is I pray for my children Don't let them inherit my scratches Let them hug each other May they always be healthy I pray for my children Don't let them inherit my scratches Let them hug each other May they always be healthy Want to be there for them just like I promised To sit at the end of the day knowing that I succeeded In the meantime, I'm counting small victories because I'm glad I didn't run away To the bathroom or to the computer I just stopped and listened For stories about birds for thoughts, for paintings For dreams that will one day come true For the heroes, for the princesses with the silent eyes There is a sea of secrets if you really listen Praying for my children Don't let them inherit my scratches Let them hug each other May they always be healthy Amen Amen Amen to my children Don't let them inherit my scratches Let them hug each other May they always be healthy standing watching in the stands watching from the sidelines and cheering Also in the abyss, also in the sky Leaving everything and coming Just hug each other May you always be healthy
Here you have the English translation of the song lyrics Oh, how time flies, still hard to grasp that I'm a father1 Waking up from being a child into the reality I live in Remember being out of breath after three kids I said, "Wait," you said, "You'll see, they'll grow up and you will understand." Suddenly they're six, soon to be seven, and how amazing they are But the pressure grew intense, built itself a tower The heart only has two rooms And the conscience's working even on Saturdays and holidays You've been the Mother of the Year for years I'm still terrified that... I won't make it in time To guard, to save, to rescue To take the bullet for them Oh, how vulnerable is the heart I pray that my kids Won't inherit my issues That they'd embrace each other May they'll be healthy forever, amen I want to be there for them just like I promised To sit at the end of the day, knowing I've succeeded Meanwhile I'm counting small victories, happy I didn't run away To the bathroom or the computer, I just stopped and listened To the stories about birds To the thoughts, to the drawings To the dreams they'll fulfill someday To the heroes, to the princesses With their silent eyes There's a sea of secrets if you truly listen I pray that my kids Won't inherit my issues That they'd embrace each other May they'll be healthy forever, amen I pray, pray, pray that my kids Won't inherit my issues That they'd embrace each other May they'll be healthy forever, amen I'm standing, looking from the sidelines Watching from the outside, cheering on Even from the abyss, even from the sky I'll drop everything to be there Just embrace each other May you'll be healthy forever, amen
He pray for the health of his children. Afraid not to be on time or in the right place, to save them. "To get the bullet instead of them" Want to see them having their dreams come.
Amen for the children, The singer is Hanan Ben Ari, the song is a kind of prayer for children... Oh, how time flies, still hard to grasp that I'm a father1 Waking up from being a child into the reality I live in Remember being out of breath after three kids I said, "Wait," you said, "You'll see, they'll grow up and you will understand." If only you could understand the lyrics.. they are so strong and meaningful. Put the lyrics in Google translate you will get some goosebumps. The end when he speaks is: Say amen for our children So they will always be healthy So they will always be happy So they won’t hear any alerts (particularly missile alerts which happens sometimes in Israel) So they won’t know any war in their whole life So nobody would hurt them physically or mentally Not in class nor the street So they will know and remember we love them And even if we don’t show it always Because we are impatient at the moment we love them indefinitely And chorus again At the very end he looks at all his kids at the screen (7)
OMG dude, that was such a great reaction, the way you grow with the song and understand it was amazing, I'm sure once you learn the song lyric's you'll be amazed evan more. and one more thing, i guess iv'e missed it, whats your name. I mean yeah, you are portuguese but you must be half jew by now :)
What an awesome reaction! Please check out the "King of Jewish Music," Mordechai ben David. His performance of Od Yeshvu at the Hasc 17 concert was beautiful.
This song is all about praying for our children. You were spot on! (Amen - amen, al - on, hayeladim - the children). The lady at the beginning is his wife, and the children on the screen in that last frame, are *his*. (He has 6).
Thank you so much for the videos since you react to the Jewish singers I love you videos I love your reaction thank you so much again I think you should learn Hebrew you will understand on a different level the songs you will love it
Wow. You're amazing. To translate it without even understanding what he says. I remember when i first heard this song i was so emotional about the lyrics and the way he sings it. He's Israel's one of the top rockstars. The job you did for this and Tania is just Awesome 😎 Keep the great job. Try Habaita by Yishai Ribo. Another saul singer in israel.
I don't know if anyone recommended to you, but - take a listen to Shlomo and Eitan Katz, two brothers who are awesome both on their own and when they come together. Personal recommendation: An Everlasting Love (by Eitan and Shlomo, it's better than the solo versions IMO) and Ki Karov (by Eitan - check out the Live in Jerusalem version).
For people who don't understand the Hebrew, the video is available with subtitles here. m.ruclips.net/video/gkmUhUw30Yg/видео.html. Definitely worth understanding the words along with the song.

Some review suggestions: 1) An amazing collaboration between Mordechai Shapiro and Benny Friedman by DJ Matt Dubb called L’Chai Olamim 2) Zaltz Band has the most incredible musical arrangements and recently did a video with Yoni Z who is a young fun singer. For some insight into what Orthodox Jewish wedding dancing/music can look like!!

Hanen is a real treasure, he once was a teacher and all of is songs are very educational and about humanity & god
During the speaking part: He blesses the crowd that their children won't hear another siren from a bomb falling and their children will be safe. And that we always love our children . "Praying for the Kids of Mine"
How time flies, hard to grasp that I'm a father
Waking up from childhood into the reality I live in
[I] Remember being out of breath after three [kids]
I said, "Wait," you said, "You'll see, they'll grow up a bit and you"ll understand."
Suddenly they're six [kids], soon to be seven, and how amazing they are
But the pressure intensified, built itself a tower
The heart only has two rooms
And the conscience's working even on Saturdays and holidays
You've been the Mother of the Year for years
[Yet] I'm still captive with fears that...
I won't make it [in time], To arrive
To guard, To save, To rescue
To take the bullet for them
Oh, how vulnerable is the heart
I pray that the kids of mine
Won't inherit my scars\issues\blemishes
That they'd embrace\strengthen each other
Amen, shall they be healthy always
[I] want to be there for them just like I promised
To sit at the end of the day, knowing I've succeeded
Meanwhile [I'm] counting small victories, happy I didn't escape
To the bathroom or the computer, I just stopped and listened
To [their] stories about birds
To the thoughts, to the drawings
To the dreams they'll fulfill someday
To the heroes, to the princesses
With [their] silent eyes
There's a sea of secrets if you truly listen
I pray that my kids
Won't inherit my scars\issues\blemishes
That they'd embrace\strengthen each other
Amen, shall they be healthy always
Amen Amen Amen! [Pray] upon the kids of mine
Won't inherit my scars\issues\blemishes
That they'd embrace\strengthen each other
Amen, shall they be healthy always
That they'd embrace each other
Amen, shall they be healthy always
[I'm] standing, observing from [up on] the gallery
Looking [out] from the sidelines, cheering on
Even in the abyss, even in the Heaven
[I'll be] leaving it all [and coming] to be there
Just embrace each other
Amen, shall they be healthy always
that's the song. He then bestows blessings on the crowd and they reply Amen:
That our kids shall:
always be healthy.
always be happy,
never hear the sound of a [bomb] siren...
never know of war in their lifetime
no one hurt\abuse them, their body or soul, not in class nor on the street
always remember that we love\cherish them ...

have a good day:)
Regarding recommendations, I really recommend that you watch this song by Natan Goshen and Liran Danino: ruclips.net/video/dyJS-E5UfBk/видео.html
And this song by his uncle Aharon and Eden Meiri: ruclips.net/video/BoH1OvaaXM4/видео.html
And that of Eden Hasson and Abraham Tal: ruclips.net/video/dCRNngEyXbQ/видео.html
I would really love to see your reactions these songs :)
@@PortuguesePaimeydad tasa is a good recomendation but make sure to watch his music from 10 years ago or over 10 years ago his older music is nice
awesome reaction and you are right he is definitely performing like a skilled rock star
three more I love by him are "Holem Kmo Yossef" (Dreaming like Joseph) and "Hananya" which is a tribute to his late grandfather after whom he was named (his grandfather was probably still alive when he got his name, it's an honor for a grandfather to have his grandson named after him) and "Makom" (place) which is a music video, not a performance, and shows him with his father who cuts his hair anuualy
those are his best songs by a landslide, he puts a lot of emotion into those beautiful songs
The pictures on the screen is his wife and kids. He sings a blessing for the kids.
lol "a lot of goosebumps" i love your videos
SO ON THE MONEY
very impressed.
it indeed means amen to (on) the kids
Such an emotionally inducing performance
So impressive how you nailed the meaning of the song
Hanan is a father of 7 and this song is a prayer for the children
The most beautiful song in the world
There's a video posted with English translation word for word of this song by Shulem Deen. Highly recommend watching it and you'll understand exactly why everyone is feeling it so much.
Loving your videos, thank you.
I pray for my children
Don't let them inherit my scratches
to hug each other)
How time flies, it is not perceived that I am a father
Summers from childhood to the reality I live in
Remember how after three the air ran out
I said wait, you told me look
They will grow a little and you will understand
Suddenly they are six, another moment seven
And how amazing they are
But the pressure grew, he built a tower
The heart only has two chambers
And the conscience also works on Saturdays and holidays
You have been the mother of the year for years
I am still a prisoner of fears that
I won't be able to make it
to save, to save, to save
absorb a bullet instead
Oh how vulnerable the heart is
I pray for my children
Don't let them inherit my scratches
Let them hug each other
May they always be healthy
I pray for my children
Don't let them inherit my scratches
Let them hug each other
May they always be healthy
Want to be there for them just like I promised
To sit at the end of the day knowing that I succeeded
In the meantime, I'm counting small victories because I'm glad I didn't run away
To the bathroom or to the computer I just stopped and listened
For stories about birds for thoughts, for paintings
For dreams that will one day come true
For the heroes, for the princesses with the silent eyes
There is a sea of secrets if you really listen
Praying for my children
Don't let them inherit my scratches
Let them hug each other
May they always be healthy
Amen Amen Amen to my children
Don't let them inherit my scratches
Let them hug each other
May they always be healthy
standing watching in the stands
watching from the sidelines and cheering
Also in the abyss, also in the sky
Leaving everything and coming
Just hug each other
May you always be healthy
God such a good songgg 🥺

Here you have the English translation of the song lyrics
Oh, how time flies, still hard to grasp that I'm a father1
Waking up from being a child into the reality I live in
Remember being out of breath after three kids
I said, "Wait," you said, "You'll see, they'll grow up and you will understand."
Suddenly they're six, soon to be seven, and how amazing they are
But the pressure grew intense, built itself a tower
The heart only has two rooms
And the conscience's working even on Saturdays and holidays
You've been the Mother of the Year for years
I'm still terrified that...
I won't make it in time
To guard, to save, to rescue
To take the bullet for them
Oh, how vulnerable is the heart
I pray that my kids
Won't inherit my issues
That they'd embrace each other
May they'll be healthy forever, amen
I want to be there for them just like I promised
To sit at the end of the day, knowing I've succeeded
Meanwhile I'm counting small victories, happy I didn't run away
To the bathroom or the computer, I just stopped and listened
To the stories about birds
To the thoughts, to the drawings
To the dreams they'll fulfill someday
To the heroes, to the princesses
With their silent eyes
There's a sea of secrets if you truly listen
I pray that my kids
Won't inherit my issues
That they'd embrace each other
May they'll be healthy forever, amen
I pray, pray, pray that my kids
Won't inherit my issues
That they'd embrace each other
May they'll be healthy forever, amen
I'm standing, looking from the sidelines
Watching from the outside, cheering on
Even from the abyss, even from the sky
I'll drop everything to be there
Just embrace each other
May you'll be healthy forever, amen
He pray for the health of his children. Afraid not to be on time or in the right place, to save them. "To get the bullet instead of them"
Want to see them having their dreams come.

11:22 - You are right; a vague translation would be "Amen to the kids".
If only you could understand the lyrics.. they are so strong and meaningful. Put the lyrics in Google translate you will get some goosebumps. The end when he speaks is:
Say amen for our children
So they will always be healthy
So they will always be happy
So they won’t hear any alerts (particularly missile alerts which happens sometimes in Israel)
So they won’t know any war in their whole life
So nobody would hurt them physically or mentally
Not in class nor the street
So they will know and remember we love them
And even if we don’t show it always
Because we are impatient at the moment we love them indefinitely
And chorus again
At the very end he looks at all his kids at the screen (7)
OMG dude, that was such a great reaction, the way you grow with the song and understand it was amazing, I'm sure once you learn the song lyric's you'll be amazed evan more. and one more thing, i guess iv'e missed it, whats your name.

(He has 6).

Wow. You're amazing.
To translate it without even understanding what he says.
I remember when i first heard this song i was so emotional about the lyrics and the way he sings it.
He's Israel's one of the top rockstars.
The job you did for this and Tania is just Awesome 😎
Keep the great job.
Amen al hayeladim shely =
Amen for my kids.
