My grandma used to put soap in my mom’s mouth when she misbehaved. My mom told me how that made her feel as a kid and swore she’d never do that to me or my siblings. She never did and I never will do that to mine either
Lowkey my parents made me feel like the devil child growing up and now I have no self-esteem as a near-21-year-old. I don't have any friends because I never got my emotional dysregulation under control and I'm scared I'm going to make them mad at me and then they won't be my friend anymore; it's happened before.
I’m old (50) so I got some old school punishments like getting my ass whacked with a wooden spoon or a fly swatter (whatever my mom had in her hand) and once I had to sit with a bar of soap in my mouth because I said a bad word. My kids didn’t really get spankings, it was more time outs in a chair, losing toys… My oldest got a light spank and a time out in the chair for kicking me in the face when I was trying to take his shoes off and he pitched a tantrum. He caught me right in the nose. He got a god talking to from both of us about that one. My youngest was the biggest problem. He didn’t learn from normal discipline but from old school example learning. He used to bite. He once bit my oldest so bad… I’m surprised he doesn’t still have marks from it today. Nothing had worked up to that point and that was the breaking point. I used my grandmother’s method. I bit him back, not hard but hard enough that it hurt a bit. He yelled and started to cry. I yelled at him and asked if it felt good, he tearfully said no. I asked if he thought it felt good when he did it to his brother, he tearfully said no. I told him never do it again. He stopped after that because he finally got it. This was also the same kid that when we told him not to touch the burner, it was hot, he touched it and burned his hand 🤦🏻♀️ It’s like he never believed what we told him and always had to find out for himself. It was frustrating.
I cursed once when I was little. My mom made me hold a bar of soap in my mouth for 30 seconds. I hated it and never cursed again. It taught me my lesson. But my mom also calmly explained WHAT I did wrong, WHY it was wrong, WHY I was getting punished this way, and WHAT would happen if I did this in the future. This mom just yells at her kids and uses the same punishment which is obviously ineffective on them. *edit*: I also was not fed the soap, I just had to hold it in my mouth. I didn’t swallow anything
Words are more clear than violence. I dont believe in using violence to teach children. With the way i grew up, i learned that my parent used words as weapons. So verbal abuse is also worse than physical abuse. I swear children are way too misunderstood.
My mom and her 4 siblings would always get their mouth rubbed with soap whenever they would do/ something bad. My mom and her siblings had an abusive dad. And the worst part is that they didn’t know any better.
I think people should stop doing this as a punishment the soap can be toxic and i think there are better ways to punish a child or just talk to them/scold them with wise words.
The soap used to be a punishment for swearing to "wash their mouth out" but now, since soap doesn't taste bad like it used to, it's not such a deterrent as a harmless punishment anymore.
It’s actually possible to put a child’s life at risk by using soap to wash out their mouth…allergic reactions, throat swells up, can’t breathe, intestinal issues…I also read a child went blind due to this being done by their parent, really sad story.
I’m a gen x’s raised in 70’s. I ate soap constantly. My brother and I compared flavors. Dial was the worst! Redkin was ok and Lava… really cleaned out our tongues. I never grew up with a desire to eat soap. So then I progressed to cussing… mom progressed to coating my tongue with cream of tarter. 🤮. We were never ever at this level.
"DO YOU WANT MORE?" "Yes. yes i do" "THEN ILL GIVE IT TO YOU" "i dare you, the camera is recording all of this babes they gonna call cps on you and ill be laughing at you getting arrested"
As children, me and my sisters got a lot. Yeah, child services were probably notified. You gotta laugh. Or else, you will cry😝 Thank God I do not have kids, I love them, but no! Thank you for your content!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
Omg I had to eat SO much soap as a kid in the 80s sometimes just for being in the same room as my Mother when she was pissed off. My mother HATED kids and there were 3 of us. ALL the soaps, I can tell you the flavor profile 😂
Nowadays kids are more bratty and spoiled because the parents won’t teach them or discipline them correctly. Soap is usually for those who curse at a young age. When I was a child I was taught and spanked with a belt after that my mom put me in a corner or in my room and told me to rethink wat I did wrong. It worked I didn’t do anything stupid or bad after that.
As a kid who was punished in all of those ways because of behaviors i exhibited that are now very clearlg apart of my neurological disorders, i can guarantee all those did was fuck me up more and make me feel like everything i did was a mistake, no matter how hard i tried to be normal. I got the soap, hit, a babysitter put hotsauce on my fingers cause i was chewing them. Guess what, i had cuts on my fingers so that was fun/sar When i was screaming and crying cause i missed my mom, they'd put duct tape on my mouth to shut me up while i sat in time out ((they claim that never happened, but i remember it clearly)) I remember being hit with a belt once I was definitely spanked, and usually for dumb things such as not changing the channel to something my guardian wanted to watch because he didnt want to watch "Lego bullshit", even though i was home sick and he was just coming up from the basement to eat. I was always unsupervised.
Love how the nanny her self was like why tf are u feeding them soap , a story I wanted to share , so after a flood we needed to leave the area and took shelter in a neighbor's house , then we met another neighbor and her kid , aka the troubled kid (in her mom's eyes a demon ) but ! , in our view a troubled kid , she was repeating her mom's ur a filthy dog to her .... don't blame the kid ! , we came and actually spoke to the kid and whenever she ask a question we answered and talked to her like an actual human being ( why can't I touch that , aka the trash and ext ) ofc babysitting her and all ,, she was calling me and my mom the real mommy and big sis.... was heart breaking she was venting to my mom ab " why mommy calls me a a filthy dog , I'm not " she was only 4 , good ending is that she's her dad's girl and he's a wonderful dad to the kid , yes mom talk to her ab her parenting the moral of the story " hey treat others as u would like to be treated , kind and caring yk " and ab the flood everyone was ok
This is literally close to how my parents act. Even to the point she yells at the top of her lungs, (we weren't even that bad of kids) now she wonders why we're always so quiet when she walks into the room with us, we got yelled at for everything we did pretty much, even smacked us with anything she had in her hand, she once threatened to smack me with the stirry thing she was cooking food with. And she wonders why her kids don't like her/talk to her lol!
That woman looks WAY older than 25!!! 🧐 I also noticed that her oldest daughter was 7 years old...meaning she gave birth to her when she was only 18, and most likely got pregnant at 17! I only take jote of these things because I used to watch Supernanny a lot for parenting advice/tips, and it used to annoy me when people called me a "young mother," because I had my first child when I was 21 years and 11 months old (almost 22!)
As an child abuse victim, my mother had a few reasons for being abusive (maybe this helps ❤️) 1. She is under the usage of marijuana 2. She has had cancer and is always stressed 3. She most likely has anger issues

@@sillyluluu gen x, we got hit at the end of the day incase they forgot to hit us for something earlier lol
Hitting your kids is the best way to make sure they don't respect you or take care of you when you're old lol
Plenty of people who took good care of their children don't get taken care of by them when elderly.
@@muchtestedWhy though?
@@user-cp3le5li1t Sadly, it is because people have become selfish, don't fear God, and foist that care off on nursing homes or hospitals.

My mom put a bar of soap in my mouth and i started to eat it and asked for more. Lol My mom started crying to my grandma she didnt know what to do.😂
Don't let your mom have access to your future kids...
I lost my mind 😭😭😭😭😭
That intro was pure, uncut, chaos
My grandma used to put soap in my mom’s mouth when she misbehaved. My mom told me how that made her feel as a kid and swore she’d never do that to me or my siblings. She never did and I never will do that to mine either
1:59 Dora the Explorer with attitude.
No no no not that Dora the mom is Dora
Fear and respect are totally two different things. Discipline and corporal punishment are also two different things. Polar opposite in fact.

All kids deserve a parent. Not all parents deserve a kid.
Truw true
Words are more clear than violence. I dont believe in using violence to teach children. With the way i grew up, i learned that my parent used words as weapons. So verbal abuse is also worse than physical abuse. I swear children are way too misunderstood.
3:32 POV:My Hispanic mom looking for the best Belt to scare the living shit out of us
yeh i got my mouth washed out with soap when i was younger for saying a swear word.
Oop I would’ve gotten a whopping
I had to swallow half a bottle of hot sauce when I did that 😢
My mom and her 4 siblings would always get their mouth rubbed with soap whenever they would do/ something bad.
It was never harmless
@@Gambit0590 there's nothing poisonous about soap, it just tastes bad, therefore the deterrent from swearing
@@MojoMountainMan the poor kid didnt even swear he just spat a bit💀
i was fed soap as a kid-
i had no idea it was that bad all it did was taste bad, my parents also did other things but like 💀
I saw super nanny before and it just left me speechless af.
Lmafo his wig fell off for slapping so hard
He was going in....I love him for that dedication
This was a funny video but also...those kids kept doing "attention seeking behaviors" and she didn't seem to get that.
This is freaking proof that all childs need parents but not all parents deserve childs 😢
the mom got arrested in 2021
GOOD
Hi Molly! 🤣
Hi Holly 😂
You'd actually be a good dad honesty 😊
It’s actually possible to put a child’s life at risk by using soap to wash out their mouth…allergic reactions, throat swells up, can’t breathe, intestinal issues…I also read a child went blind due to this being done by their parent, really sad story.
The parents were acting more like siblings than parents.
When I was younger my mom gave me the “look” and I would be backing up and saying sorry even if I didn’t do anything and she would get mad🤣
Those kids dgaf 😂😂
Those kids have shit parents is the problem. You have to BE the example. You cannot be a shit person and expect a functional kid.
We were never ever at this level.
my mom never used soap but when my siblings used 2 say bad words she put hot sauce😭
Geez, I have 9 siblings, and my parents can take care of us well
Thats so cool :) My Dad had 6 siblings, that so awesome
I bet you’ll be a GREAT parent! :D

Even Asian moms are less 'abusive' or whatever the west calls it.(Asian moms are very sweet)
You're not just wrong, you're stupid
0:17 my mom right there
Wtf
My mother used to pour liquid dish soap in our mouths and make us hold it in our mouths it was awful lol
Guess what, i had cuts on my fingers so that was fun/sar
When i was screaming and crying cause i missed my mom, they'd put duct tape on my mouth to shut me up while i sat in time out ((they claim that never happened, but i remember it clearly))
I remember being hit with a belt once
I was definitely spanked, and usually for dumb things such as not changing the channel to something my guardian wanted to watch because he didnt want to watch "Lego bullshit", even though i was home sick and he was just coming up from the basement to eat. I was always unsupervised.
Hey Im really sorry to hear this, I hope you are doing way better now. :)
6:43 isn’t soup poisonous ?
Yes it is to much soap you can go to the hospital so basically if you eat it more I think it can be fatal
It can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and in some cases you have to go to the hospital or call poison control
@@Purplefrogy yea, most likely if he lucky u will get those symptoms if not then u done for ✅😀

I also noticed that her oldest daughter was 7 years old...meaning she gave birth to her when she was only 18, and most likely got pregnant at 17!
I only take jote of these things because I used to watch Supernanny a lot for parenting advice/tips, and it used to annoy me when people called me a "young mother," because I had my first child when I was 21 years and 11 months old (almost 22!)

"my kids hate me"
I WONDER WHY...
(soap, hitting, abuse)
Im thankful for my mom😂❤
As an child abuse victim, my mother had a few reasons for being abusive (maybe this helps ❤️)
1. She is under the usage of marijuana
2. She has had cancer and is always stressed
3. She most likely has anger issues
