- Hi everyone! I recently made a wooden puzzle for a 2 yo son of a couple of friends of mine. It's made of Iroko and Sycamore, two beauty and contrasting wood. In this project I’ve used the most the scroll saw and table saw. At the end of the video you will find a very short timelapse experiment that I’ve made for all my subscribers. I hope you enjoy the project and the video.

Hola a tots!

Great video, glad I found it! I have been making wooden toys for the grandkids for four years now. This year I ran out of time. I think I can do 4 by Christmas. Thanks a bunch, and I will look forward to up and coming vids. I really enjoyed the time-lapse work you did.
Thanks Larry, it's nice to hear that kind of comments. I really appreciate it. I'm sure your grandkids are quite lucky to have you. nowadays, kids usually don't value the handwork and classic toys. Regards!
Very cool!
Wha kind of saw are you using? I have a small one. No room to move wood around like yours.
You mean the scroll saw or the table saw?
Thank you for publishing such an interesting video. I cannot believe the amount of work and number of steps that go into a project like this! I will appreciate wooden puzzles much more when I see them! You have a gift for woodworking. Keep up the great work!
In fact it is more complex that someone could think but the results worth it. Thanks for your kind comment Clare! Regards.
Hola!

Really great job. I love your shooting and editing style.
Thanks Chris! I'm glad you liked it. I'm also a photography enthusiast, so I try to deliver a quality shots every time. Anyway, I can get better in video recording and editing, but I need more practice ;).
Nicely done!
Thanks Matthew! You'll find more woodworking projects on my channel. Regards!

Very good project, looks amazing and its simple to complete the puzzle even for me (I think)
Heh, I'm sure you could. Thanks for coming by!
Hi WWB! You are the fucking master of this. You will arrive far! Keep it up! ;)
Gràcies Xavi! Tú també ets un crack!!
Hola me encantó tu trabajo!!
@@WoodworkingBarcelona genial!! Gracias por la info y la oferta!! Lo tendré en cuenta!!
Awesome work! Great video! What finish did you use there at the end?
Hi Jamie! I'm glad you liked my puzzle. I use food safe mineral oil cause it was a toy for a 2 yo children.
buen trabajo! me gusto la edición.
Gracias Lizeth!
great idea
Thank you!
That is a great idea
Thanks Warren! I appreciate your comment so much! Cheers.
Nice project. How long did it take you to complete it?
Thanks Howard! It's hard to say because of the slowing down effect of filming the whole process. Anyway, I estimate that it took me about 8-12 h.
nice video! including the original sounds was a nice effect
+George Thank you for your feedback George.
Hola!
well done, once again. Ans simple. Inspiring !
Celmar Gràcies!!

I have been watching this over and over again for two weeks. Magic. Thanks a lot for what you do!
What kind of scrallsaw do you use? I am now considering to buy Hegner Multicut 2s for hobby. What do you say?
Thanks for your encouraging comment Andrew! I use a Proxxon DSH/E scroll saw; and I'm very pleased with it. I dont' have experience with that Henger but it seems to be more pro than mine, and it costs over 10 times more. Regards!
Woodworking Barcelona
Hi Man,
Thanks for replying! Actually the exhisting Proxxon model (DSH) costs only four times less than Hegner 2s here in Moscow, Russia. Still it can be a great saving for me anyway. Did you try to cut hardwoods like oak or pear of 10mm+ thickness with it? Was it enough power? This is what I am dreaming to do?
Yet, sorry for stupid question from the beginner, what liquid do you apply at the end - is it some mineral oil or varnish?
Andrew Chalov It's a pleasure, Andrew. To answering your first question, I guess you can find very usefull my last video: ruclips.net/video/68CTmzHdH3Q/видео.html in where I cuted all the pattern through a piece of 25mm aged Oak. In previous projects, I've been able to cut also to 2.5mm stainess steel ( ruclips.net/video/uhrXs2q6cgw/видео.html ), 20mm purple heart (extremly dense wood) without problem and other dense woods. In softwoods like pine I cuted about 40mm without any problem. Obviously it will take much longer than with a band saw. You just need to choose the correct blade for each work. About the finishing of the wooden puzzle, I used a food safe mineral oil like in my other projects for children. Regards from Barcelona!
Thank you very much , I benefit alot ,please I want to ask : Is this an electric wood saw that cut the wood ? can I do it at home
+Princess Mony It's called scroll saw.
excellent video, thanks
Patrick Crowe Thanks Patrick! Could you tell me how did you find this video? I've noticed a huge peak of visits during this weekend on this video. Regards from Barcelona!

Norwegian Wood Actually the merit is not mine at all. The lumberyard boss is a true expert and sometimes he advised me according to the project I plan to make. Thanks for your support. I feel very rewarded.
Thanks a lot, WB! (Sorry I don't know your name). Your reply is very precise. I also watched your other videos and they are great. Subscribed to your channel. Envy you :) for your hands! Have nice day!
Andrew Chalov It's ok Andrew, my name is Lluís. I'm glad my answer helped you getting the right decision about which scroll saw to buy. Thanks for your encouraging comment. Regards!
could you list the equipment used?
For that project you'll need a scrollsaw, sandpaper o power sander, thickness/planer or handplane. That's all.
Nice
