- Hello everyone, welcome to SA Today. On 23 February 2024, we will start today's video with rain and strong wind in Upington in the Northern Cape of South Africa. Heavy rain over Hartbeespoort Dam. Then we drive towards Wellington with veld fires next to the road and smoke blowing over the road. The joy when the lights come on after load shedding in Umhlanga. African wild dogs and Tsessebe antelopes were spotted in the Kruger National Park. We make a quick stop at the beach in Blue Horizon Bay. We drive around Carnarvon, the view from the restaurant in Mabalingwe Game Reserve and show more videos from around South Africa.

We want to show our viewers as many places as we can across the country worth visiting. South Africa is a large country, and only some locals know where all these places are, we therefore add a map that we created to show where the video was captured more or less. We also try and provide some history on many of the towns, museums and events on that day in South Africa. We take pride in bringing original and captivating videos that will leave you in awe.
Also in this video, warthog seen on the trail camera near Bela Bela, the Gordon's Bay Harbour, walk around the National Botanical Gardens in Pretoria, view points along Clarence Drive in Cape Town, bonsmara cattle on the farm outside Bothaville, blesbok run across the road on Bosdraai Nature Farm outside Leeudoringstad and we end the video today with a drive through Somerset West in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.

Wonderful to see the dolphins riding the waves in Blue Horizon Bay! 😊 Such beautiful big skies and fabulous clouds on road trip and at Noraki too. Great views from Chappies travelling from Kommetjie to Hout Bay 😊
I remember being advised by a game ranger long ago, if you want to see game, sit still, be as quiet as you can and wait patiently, you will be amazed at how much you will see and hear around you.
One of the "team" is an ex-game ranger with almost 20 years experience...
