ALP SPILAU - Hike to ridge and alpine lake

Come along on our hike to the Spilauersee in the Swiss alps near Lucerne. After riding a tiny open air cable car up the mountain, we hike up through alpine pastures to a ridge with panorama views over the cliffs. Then down to a bright blue alpine lake and alpine dairy for a traditional mountain meal of local cheese and dried meats.

Another gorgeous hike Tanya! Amazing scenery, lovely lake and a you meet adorable kittens along the way. :) Food looked delicious too. I'm definitely putting it on my list of places to hike in the future even though I dislike old-school gondolas you need to take to do this hike. :)
