Went here last night with a mate off the back of this review. We ordered “The Feast” - unlimited fresh bread, a load of dips, a kebab each, chilli sauce, salad and rice. Turned up at 5:20pm on a Tuesday and there was already a queue at the door (it opens at 5:30pm). Luckily we were squeezed in on bar stools and the place was rammed within half an hour. Booking would be essential on a weekend. The bread was something else - two different types and the naan-type bread (it was called something else) had its own mini cave inside it which hissed out steam as it was so piping hot and fresh out of the clay oven. Also - you eat as much as you want! We had 2 rounds. The dips, which came as a starter, included the best hummus I’ve ever had - it was rich like fois gras and loaded with flavour. All the other dips were amazing as well. Then to the main event - a kubbideh and chicken kebab with all the trimmings. Both were so succulent and juicy and perfectly cooked over hot coals. The chilli sauce was unique and had plenty of kick. Drinks-wise we had beers and wine - the soft drink selection was pretty standard (apart from that Miranda orange drink which was lovely). Overall, this place is an event and the food is leagues above your average kebab shop. They had loads of dishes on offer and if we weren’t so stuffed we would have tried more. Even the desserts sounded good, and the atmosphere and decor all added to the experience. It’s hard to argue with 10/10. The Feast cost £35 each but was well worth it - a kebab on its own was c.£15. Thank you FRC for the tip!
Being married to a Persian wife is the reason I’m 4 stone overweight! 🤣 Persian cuisine is some of the best in the world.... make Joojeh Kebob (chicken) at your next BBQ and you will be BBQ king to all your friends and family ☺️
Wow !! That food looked a bit special. Another top find guys 👍 The last batch of videos have been banging..keep up the good work Matt and Jess. This is turning into a great channel.
I always wondered watching these if you would try Persian Cuisine one day as you're the supposed Kebab King, it's also very under-the-radar. You don't get much better than Chelow Kebab which you had, also would recommend Lamb Shish, Abgoosht or Barg if you ever try Persian again. Great Review fella!
YES!! I ate at Berenjak before the pandemic and it was soooo good. Love sitting on the counter by the grill, I ordered a koobideh kebab, sweet breads and liver. Was all BANGING!
Just something I noticed though, they appear to handle food with bare hands, like the guy handling the bread, and later touching his phone in the video, so their hygiene imo isn't the best, but this is just my observation from the video, perhaps they changed or have other things in place for hygiene
Whose who at the zoo! Matt, we both said Oh My God out loud when you unveiled the meat hahaha. Looked incredible, from the first second. Fantastic video guys, cars looked incredible too. Humus and Thomas.... Imagine he turned up again 😂😂 loads of love from Dublin
YES mate. Middle eastern food is the bomb!! When these strange times are over you should get over to Berlin, they have so much amazing food. Plus the original Döner kebab!
Working in that area every day and never noticed that place. Just checked opening times and I'm coming on this weekend to taste that wonderful food !!!
That looked amazing food and a great review Matt and Jess. I am trying to perfect the KFC Chicken ATM, and then I am going to blow it out the water and add a twist to it. It's going to be Yorkshire Fried Chicken. Eeee by gum it tastes Great.😊❤️👍💪💕🥳
Iam working down there tomorrow iam having that for dinner looks F,king Amazing 👏 Matt turns into tigger off winne the pooh When he gets excited 😆 Top job FRC!!!
You had me in full agreement with the score until you stated £50. That is well overpriced. I couldn’t care where you’re located. £50 for a tray of meat, few bits of bread and dip should be nowhere near that amount.. luckily you’re loaded Matt 😉
Drive round in an Audi R8, wearing a rolex and film all your reviews on a blurry potato 🥔. Camera takes far too long to focus, sort it out! Other than that the food looks bang bang
@@yoooshshahah8541 jealous how ? Happy he has done well and buy nice things, the comment was regarding the camera being out of focus for a lot of the video..
Just seen this place today at night time. Around the corner is the big LED outernet. I already thought we were in a dystopia , because of mob rule. Saw this place , and it's like something out of Blade runner. It's just that front facade , it's empty, with a metal decaying industrial wasteland sort of look about it. At night time it's proper dystopian.

Berenjak is the best restaurant in London for me with everything taken into account. Utterly outstanding food
That kebab meat tray was the nicest and best presented food i've seen on all your videos. Absolutely mouthwatering tucker.
Immense, maybe the best review IMO. Pure love for real, authentic food!

What’s the exactly you ordered there? I want to try the some!!! Let me know please 👍🏽

Baby chicken, wasn’t expecting that!
Wow. That's the best looking food I've seen reviewed. Next time I'm down south will be coming to try that place out.
They also do a DIY delivery box so you can cook at home on the BBQ. They even give you the skewers which I've just ordered
As a Persian I was delighted that you enjoyed this! :)
I wanted to taste that so bad I'm dribbling :D
Did u get to Market Hill fish and chip shop?
10/10 for those delicate flavours 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Food looks amazing to be fair.. the tray of meat made my mouth water!
Like an oil painting 😅
Experience the excellence of Persian cuisine 👍👌
Persian food is the best.
Ordered the kebab kit off the back of your review, very excited!

Getting emotional at the end there big man, love it.
Mate, the food looks really delicious. I’ve got to try that restaurant once the lockdown is lifted!

Looks that good I’m might take a drive at the weekend from Fleet to get the same meal !
Love this just looked the place up as soon as it opens to sit in me and my wife are going 🤩
Working in that area every day and never noticed that place. Just checked opening times and I'm coming on this weekend to taste that wonderful food !!!
Feck me seriously lush looking food. Bar has been raised. You should raise the scoring process for the exceptional.

Wow that meat looks absolutely fantastic you lucky man does it get any better
You should have a league table of all the takeaways/restaurants that are 9+ ratings. Seperate the exceptional from the good.
Persian palace in Hanwell is a real treat
I got wind in my pipe just watching this video, mouth watering
Love your reviews Matt but the camera constantly losing focus is really annoying...
mate that food looks unreal worth a trip to London in the future for this

Definitely going up to try it then 😋
Wow 10/10 yeah 😋
👍🏾
Looked 'ucking excellent.
Fab food in london but crazy prices £50.
The food looked unreal, I’m booking a holiday to Peru after this and will arrive back 5 stone heavier! 🤣
How? Ever been there before? Peruvian food is different to 'Persian' and sure you would lose weight chewing on the coca leaves in Peru!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I've been to Peru and had cuy which is fried guinea pig and Ceviche and several snacks made from coca leaves.
Sorry bro you'll need to book a flight to Iran as persia is just the old name for Iran, good luck trying to get a visa 😂

So the things that were like chicken wings were whole chicks???
Food looooooks banging
Persian, Turkish and Arab food are very similar. The meat is always melt in the mouth.

Food porn at its finest gave me a foodgasm 😂
“Simple flavours”... Saffron is the most expensive spice in the world and really tough to get right so wouldn’t really class that as simple 🤦🏻♂️😂
More expensive than gold 👌
Salad Dodger
Good review Matt I bet the food on this review didn't go to waste ,
You shouldnt give ten outta ten you should do it how one bite pizza do there score
