This guys right. Without Allahs mercy nobody could enter jannah. But damn hes negative... he will never reach the heart of someone who needs help.. people will just run from this doom and gloom guy....
I know people who pray and fast and ask for forgiveness constantly... sincerely....yet they are having issues with Alcohol and other things..... they need to have hope and obviously quit..
However we have to remember that one of the sahabba who was the funniest of all during the prophet PBUh time had problems with drinking. The guy used to drink and get in trouble yet the prophet did not condemn him... someone from the sahabba said something negative about this sahabba and the Prophet said something like "do not curse this man, he is loved by Allah".....
Go ahead and find omar suleiman video about funniest sahabba....
Obviously we dont want to take chances.. but some truly want to quit but cannot and continue to try and stumble... they try to quit and they pray.... do not ever condemn those that are struggling... maybe thats their test.. maybe this struggle is what gets this person into heaven.
On the other hand those who do not ask for forgiveness nor pray are not going to be forgiven...
