Sonny needs to shut up here. He's pushing Jason on Sam when deep down Jason loves Elizabeth and they should be together. These writers should have been fired long ago for keeping Jason and Elizabeth apart.
What a difference in Jason from his scene with Elizabeth to his scene with Sam. His eyes were so sparkly talking to Elizabeth and his whole face was glowing. Then seconds later with Sam, all of that is gone.
betty williams i was just thinkng the same thing also why Carly likes or tolerates Sam. Carly and Sonny are able to control Jason when he is with Sam, but when he is with Elizabeth Jason is in control. Jason also makes Elizabeth a priority, even though he told her she could never come first.

When he's with Sam, he's just this weak puppy that follows Sonny, Carly, and Sam around...and that's why Carly and Sonny want Jason with her and not Liz. Liz makes Jason want more for himself, she makes him wanna be his own man. I don't care what anyone says, Robin and Liz were the best relationships Jason ever had. Robin gave him his heart and conscience, and Liz gave him hope and helped him feel at ease. No other women have done more for him than those two lovely ladies.
That Sonny dialogue is beyond ridiculous. I would say the writers screwed up but it does fit the Sonny character, he always makes eveything about himself. Either talking about Jason only in relation to how Jason fits Sonny's life, the role Sonny needs Jason to play for him, or he just directly projects his issues on to Jason. If Jason doesn't forgive he would've tossed Sonny and Carly out of his life long ago.

I loved the Liason part of this clip; they trusted each other so completely that Elizabeth knew not to ask Jason why he needed her help with the copy machine, and then, I loved how Elizabeth was joking with Bernie about letting her in to look for the necklace that she thought she left. Forgive Sam; it was one night; yet when Elizabeth wanted to talk to Jason (before finding out about the pregnancy test), you couldn’t wait to tell Elizabeth to stay away from Jason because he loves Sam? I can’t stand the Sam propping, and I never realized how much the propping happened even back then. Sunny and Carly really need to get lives where Jason and his love life is concerned. I know that when Jason (into thousand 7 to 2008) would remotely discuss Elizabeth with him, Sunny was too quick to talk about how dangerous his life is for Elizabeth, yet he was just supposed to forgive Sam for sleeping with a sleazeball like Rick? I can’t stand Sunny and Carly. I get it that Sam was sad and scared about Alexis, but the way she asked Jason for a listening ear, she sounded so whiny and that whispering… I get it that Kelly Monaco has hearing problems, but why they have her whisper like that is beyond annoying. I’ve heard Kelly talk and interviews, and she doesn’t talk extra loud, or talk extra quietly; she speaks very elegant, but when she’s around Jason (or even Drew when they thought it was Jason), she does that whispering whiny voice, which is extremely pathetic.
I love that Sonny who cannot forgive anyone (!!!), is talking down to Jason (again). Sonny needs a recorder to tape his b.s. speeches and grab a mirror and actually take his own advice... yep ... never gonna happen .. like EVER
In what was a great emotional scene with Sonny and Jason when Jason told Sonny he was leaving town. He told Sonny he learned how to forgive and he forgives him. If anything Maurice and Steve should have brought this up to the writers.
I also think Edward wouldn' have a leg to stand on b/c back then it was still a woman's choice and a great-grandparent even with money would either have to bribe a judge or be laughed out of court.
I have to respectfully disagree, the only reason he "forgave" Robin was because Micheal got shot and all that happen to him up util then, he was proven wrong and he realized that Robin was right. Carly when she slept with Sonny he compartmentalized and moved on with life, she NEVER went away and his life was all he knew. He put Carly in a position where she could never hurt him again and time did the rest.. I think he has since learned to.

When she returned and helped save his life he defended her when Patrick was being an ass, he sought her help during the virus s/l when Sam was sick, e listened and encouraged her when Patrick was knocked with the needle (Sonny too, they both forgave her long b/4 Carly ever did). He listened and she-him during NS and he saved her life. They had lots of meaningful conversations. It wasn't until when Michael killed Claudia he went to give her a long overdue apology regarding Michael.

Marina Sery jason also said for a long time he always had doubts about having a baby because safety issues. Jason and Liz talk about this before they sleep together and afterwards. Sam doesn't care about that but after losing her baby girl she had to wait & heal before they could try.

Thanks Sonny for bringing up this time last year Jason will probably be dead! During that period, I didn't see Elizabeth doing anything nor running around to protect this great love she has for Jason. It was all Sam trying to make sure he do the surgery. If it was for her persistent, Jason will probably not be alive today for Elizabeth to have her way with him. This so called one night stand won't have happened, so yes Jason get over yourself and go apologise to your woman (Sam) and kick Elizabeth to the curb where she belongs!
