Watching Blake’s journey from “hey let’s give this content thing a shot” to being a proper (and versatile!) presenter has been nothing short of inspiring. What a great new podcast. I tried apple music but they’re surely taking their time lol. Thanks for all the content and effort mate!! Appreciate it a lot
Thank you for doing this, I love listening to the P1 podcast for the laughs and memes and really enjoy your channel for the engineering background that I really can appreciate as an ME student. Looking forward to being a regular listener
Like this format - a welcome addition! Focused, clear, well organized. 9:29 - Haas also the slowest of all teams In pitstops. Isn't that operational/managerial competence much more than financial resources? Leaving points on the table.
Bravo 10 position 4. There are two multifunction rotaries. One is the (A) Alpha rotary and one is the (B) Bravo rotary. Some teams will call the A rotary something like chassis. And Mercedes call their B rotary something like HPP (because it has the Mercedes HPP engine settings behind it) Each multifunction has multiple positions (some teams have 14, some have 16). So when the engineer asks for Bravo10 Position 4(or sometimes P4) You would select position 10 on the rotary to activate that "menu" and it will show you the value "behind" that rotary Then the driver uses the +/- buttons on the steering to change the value of that setting up or down until the desired "Position" is achieved.
Didn't it used to just be the white line, but some corners would have "acceptable" track limits made clear prior to the sessions? before this 'white line or nothing' mentality/ruleset? I mean. For tracks like Austria, I feel like that would be such a simple solution.
"Sainz was leaking fuel" i wonder how he had managed to get fuel in to his overalls. Was it in a container? why did he not put the fuel in to the car? Oh those F1 drivers, what will they come up with next? :D
Why didn’t Pirelli use there new C0 hardest compound…they should have never been able to mandate stint length if there was a harder compound available…
👌💫 .. just a tiny thing... tracklimits.. I thought Pérez got 7, same as Gasly? Checo was penalised 5 secs three times... Have a great time in USA!!!! I'll look up your Insta.
@@danielgorecki281 according to Peter Windsor analysis it would be 7, the final 5 sec penalty given after the finish. so unless I am mistaken about rules: 4xtracklimits is 5 secs penalty at the fifth infringement and every separate infringement from then on is another 5 secs, I too counted 15 secs in total..... I am utterly confused now
Q: I was suprised that the stint lench for each tyre was the same. I would expect longer stint for harder tyres. Was is the reason for same length regardless which compound?
I like your stuff. I hope you got time to keep it up! Enjoy your time in Austin. I have only been in Imola (sleeping through part of the race due to train from Milan with a bottle of Sambuca)

Can you tell me what the codes mean? This was Haas:
Bravo 10 position 4.
Appreciate it thx.

Wow. Thank you . I’ve been wondering about this for years now. 🤙🏻

The compound hardness didn't really have anything to do with the structural issues
They should stop racing in the middle east its tooo hot!
This podcast is the most intimidating one yet

Checo had 6 in the main race

@@SuperPassionflower there's 3 warnings penalty free, and every more is 5s. Perez got 15s time penalty so 3 over limit. 3+3 is 6

Being a fan of Brrrake is like being a fan of racing before cars were invented

It was a structural issue not a compound issue
