sorry for my English! I am Italian and personally I think that Milan is the city that least represents Italy. I would never live there. It is the "economic" capital of Italy, but it has very little that is Italian compared to Rome, Naples, Venice, Florence etc.

Yes it’s center of economic but Milan is famous for fashion specially from luxuries brands that’s why it’s known as well as the fashion capital.
